  • can't understand the words even in english

  • Had to listen to the opera a couple of times to get to grips with it, but the hard work paid off.

  • I saw this production at the Norwegian Opera last night. Vey nice :)

  • the one at 1:38

    fit's it called?

  • Being a chorister in this production and actually having a firm idea of the story of the opera, the bibles aren't cliche at all...we just came out of church in this scene...and yes, it is powerful and very appropriate, it is THE HARDEST production I have been in, and VERY REWARDING to be a part of it, Turandot is hard too, we have just started that one (a true test of stamina) and it is so much easier in a way....please go see Grimes, the whole thing will blow you away....

  • Chorus too! Did this almost same production in Geneva - bloody hard work!!

  • This production is amazing!!! What a cast. Vocally and dramatically it is one of the finest performances of this opera I've ever enjoyed!

  • Ugh, I'm tired of people waving little Bibles in the air (0:35). It's such a cliche!

Looks like a cool production, though.

  • It's all about how a crowd applies double standards to the few. Mob mentality makes them push morals - yet they the director shows in other scenes how immoral the crowd can be. Saw it twice and it was great both times. Lots of thought went into this production.
