Replaying through the games, Apollo really has the drastically weaker cast overall, but I still get a kick out of the "passing the torch" element to the game. This video had a bit of that too.

I found that Phoenix's cast didn't really hit their stride until the second game, though. They were really bland in the first game compared to their fantastic chemistry in the later installments. If there had been only one game, I wouldn't have lost any sleep over it. On the other hand, I'm still hungry for another game starring the Apollo Justice characters.

You didn't show his relationship with Dahlia/Iris before he became a lawyer. It is one of the most important events in his life, especially seeing all the fuss it created later.

They ARE making an official live-action movie of Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban)! It's only going to be released in Japan, probably. I don't recognize the names of the Japanese actors, but they have Hiroki Narimiya as Phoenix, Takumi Saitou as Edgeworth, and Mirei Kiritani as Maya.

Yeah, I find it sad, and in the first game too! :( She was killed so that she wouldn't investigate further into BlueCorp's shady dealings and it's connection with the DL-6 incident. It was supposed to be a secret that Misty was used to channel Gregory Edgeworth's spirit, but then Grossberg leaked the information to Redd in exchange for riches and Redd (the b*stard) sold the information to the media and ruined Misty's reputation... I hope that explained why she was killed.
