This is supposed to be a series on Roman engineering. Why is "H" wasting time with the scandals, and intrigues and treachery that surrounded the Roman Emperors?
@richie7778 With a degree in anthropology, I think I do indeed now, fool. Course you don't have to be a genius to know the various people/conquerors of Britian, including the Romans. And the idea of Nero setting fire to Rome is a story, not a factual event.

As far as I know....There is no hard evidence Nero had the city of Rome set on fire. Sure he was the type who would have done something like that but still...no hard evidence. I base my statement on other, more detailed documentaries I have seen.
Wow the Romans were fucking bad ass geniuses. I most interested in modern history, but if my university offers a good course on the Roman Empire, I might just make an exception to take it!
