thanks for your reply, but as you know males can't stay together in one tank and yours are't in large containers ey. I know that you have a filtration system and heating if i'm not mistaken, i'm interested in buying 2 containers like yours. And i'll buy a battery operated pump for them, instead of a heater i will do a bulb which gives light and heats a bit the aquarium at the same time. What do you think of this small setup mate ?

What is your smallest container that you keep bettas in ? Do bettas live happily in a small container like a coffee jar ?

they can live in small containers, but that doesnt mean they should. if its a coffee jar, make it a extra large one, and then upgrade to a filtered tank when you can. they also need heaters, many say they dont, but at the end of the day they are tropica fish, and need a temperature ranging from 25c- 26c. there's a saying ive seen alot on line, just because they can SURVIVE in a small tank, this does not mean they will THRIVE. if you get one, hope all goes well, and happy fish keeping! chloe x

wow lol, now THAT'S what you're gunnu need if you wanna breed bettas on a small scale. that's the only thing stopping me, basicly. lol. great collection you got. as someone said earlier, it must be a huge pain to have to feed them all and clean them all, basicly a full time job! or at least it would certainly take up your weekend time.
