@IloveMJ211 Nope, it uses pressure from gas to propel the bb. Basically, gas blows out the bb at a high speed, instead of the piston from an electric gun pushing air to propel the bb.

@mongdex You can buy an open bolt system. OR you can buy the SCAR with the open bolt system already installed( so far i can only find it pre-installed on RedWolf Airsoft....)

The open bolt is said to have better r.o.f and f.p.s. don't take my word for it, i don't have experience with this system (yet).

@DaNINJA019 open bolt systems have a high rate of fire, just look at the mac11 gbb. the problem with them when used in actual combat is their tendency to get jammed with dirt and other particles that might get into the chamber.

This SCAR-L is JP version. (low pressur gus use only)

The gus use a flon134a.

@mongdex Actually, the opposite. Japanese airsoft guns cannot be more than 280fps, while the US-spec SCAR shoots at around 350 with green gas (propane). The propellant he's using, HFC 134a gas, is far less powerful.

hey fighter just pull out your barrel set place some lint free cloth inside the brass tube so noting gets in it and paint the outside of the tube with flat black engine spray paint allow to dry overnight put it back together and you'll never see it again!:)
