  • The 1 dislike comes from sun itself who obviously didn't like the fact that the comet escaped it :D

  • not a comet, its a alien's mothership.

  • 1. A "dirty snowball" would have melted completely.

    2. The atmosphere of the sun is hotter than the sun's outer layer.

    3. A comet's "tail" always points "away" from the sun.

There's a lot wrong with this picture, which current science can't explain. However, if viewed from the Plasma-Electric model, it all actually works out logically.

  • Chuck Norris sperm going: "this chick aint hot enough"

  • Gotta rename this to Comet Honey Badger. The sun?? Hah, Comet Honey Badger don't give a shit, it just takes what it wants.

  • The comet "lost" it's tail on the "approach" side of the solar pass, most likely the extreme heat and turbulance made it impossible to keep the tail. A few hours after the cloest approach, it started to reform.

  • And than stick a probe up its ass.

  • We need to catch it.

  • The little comet that could

  • the nasa site sucks.

  • Another question: If a comet, why is the tail going the wrong direction on the other side? And why didn't we hear about this until now?

  • "Amazing" is an understatement, welcome back Lovejoy! Don't forget to show us the photos!

  • [raises hands to chest height]

    "Aliens."

  • @cameltoe4565 thare is no such thing as aliens my uncle told me and he works at nasa

  • @lpsfun1000 lol, your uncle lied to you, a lot.

  • Behind the Sun, lied awaiting a few travellers in their spacecraft, waiting for the comet to come. They knew about humans. They knew they were watching. They had been waiting this day for some time. They knew humans expected the comet to be destroyed by the Sun. So they had their own comet prepared, ready to be hurled around, to baffle the gullible humans. They tossed their own comet and, well, metaphorically, ran like hell, shooting through space and time in their vessel, laughing like maniacs.

  • hey where did you get footage at 0:08? is there anymore similar shots of the sun?

  • A STAR SHIP ENTERPRISE PICKING UP SPEED FOR TIME TRAVEL ?

  • How does a icy body survive millions of degrees from the sun? How does a small body get just outside the sun photosphere with out being pulled into the suns massive gravity field? Either astrophysists have comets-sun-and gravity all wrong or this isn't a comet at all.

  • @wiseyeffect It did lose 90% precent of its mass, but it just survived by going very fast. As for why it didn't get pulled in, it was really just very extreme example of an orbit, if it had been just a little closer it probably would've broken up or been sucked in like you said, but the trajectory wasn't near enough to sun. As a comet (a collection of rocks dust, frozen gases, etc, it just might be finished. Hard to tell at the moment how many of the lighter elements remain.

  • @Sebastia9101 not a thourogh explanation, the orbit is controlled by the sun's gravity, so yes it couldve been sucked in.

  • Rush

  • Amazing

  • It was LEONARD,SHELDON,RASJ,and HOWARD from the big bang theory who made it happen.

    watch the next episode.

  • seriously this is not a comet, its the Enterprise going back to the future

    revise your classic guy

  • In Soviet Russia Sun swings past comet..........(and smashes into Ray Williams Studio Apt)

  • That Comet has balls for going that close to the Sun

  • Chuck Norris created that Comet.

  • @iBEASTo9 :D Hahaha!

  • Awesome, this was a amazing keep them coming. This sun is a thing of beautiful which you don't want to behold for to long or look at directly.

  • "Won't somebody please think of the children!?"
