@Adamguy2003 ...and any other episode of MST3K. I believe WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES became probably the most infamous running gag they had from movie to movie.
I've seen Cinematic Titanic live twice, now, and each time they manage to work in a WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES!
I always figured this was a case of badly synchronized audio in the original movie. Take the "Watch out for snakes!/Eeeeew!" audio from 0:04 and apply it to circa 0:11-0:12 when Mr. Miller turns around and Roxy clasps her arms and recoils back a little.
Who on earth said "Watch out for snakes??" It's like the directer said it to the actors and didn't bother to edited it out. But their reaction was just hilarious!!! Makes me LMAO every time. And it gets even funnier when the bots say it like 6 other times after that.
@MegaAstroFan18 No it wasn't. I rented this episode from netflix and you can also on the dvd watch the real movie without them and they say it in the real movie and none of the actors say it, so it was someone behind the scenes are something, like I said who said that? lol
@Adrianne519 Like they said "who said that?". I did a little reading on that. The big guy there said the line, but there was no visual indication of it. It's like a scene that was cut, but they forgot to remove the dialogue. Thus we have a disembodied voice saying 'watch out for snakes!'
@danhendricks No, it's the big guy in the suit. The guy who said "let's not forget where we parked super-car". Or rather he seems like he was supposed to say it but the visuals of him saying it are non-existent.
I agree with a few of the other commenters here: this sounds like ADR, but why they felt they had to loop that line of dialogue is beyond me. Did editor Don Schneider watch the rough cut and say, "Holy crap, they forgot to say WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES! The movie sucks now." If so, I hope he eventually realized that the movie sucks anyway and that "Watch out for snakes" doesn't help.
Arch Hall Sr I'm guessing. The problem was when he said "Watch out fo snakes" it was probably in a studio months after wrapping up the shooting of Eegah! (and it sounded like it was in a studio).
You have exactly the same sense of humor as me, then! I say weird things to people all the time, only to make myself laugh, no matter if they stare blankly and don't get why I'm laughing.
i've heard it on other episodes, too. can't remember which ones, but i almost blow milk out of my nose every time i hear it. even when im not drinking it.
LOL

ADR = Automated dialogue replacement. FYI.
"My giant," that was a crappy Billy Crystal movie, right? Oh, it was released in 1998, no wonder they didn't make a crack about it here.
