So what chevy has a better initial warranty, I expect my truck to last for well over 100,000 miles, hell ive had fords that last over 300,000 without major problems. I would hope a truck could last at least 16-20 years

Most early model "bubble" Ford truck's I've seen had electrical problems. Even the first year they switched to fuel injection on those ugly boxy f-150's from the late 80's had electrical issues. The only thing a Chevy can't beat in the 90's were the Cummins and the 7.3 Powerstrokes but that is about it. You can't beat an old toilet bowel injected 350 in reliability.

You know why I can vouch for the Silverado being America's best truck? My first truck was a 2001 Silverado 2500, 6.0L V8, 170,000 miles on it and the only problem with it was the windows losing synchronization. That truck's been through salty beach air, heavy snow climates, ritualistic construction, moving, boat-tugging... the works. I'm not going to lie, the only other truck I've ever owned is my H3 [GM] , but those are the facts and I'm going by them. Silverados are TOUGH.
The """Man Step""" is to make it easier to get to the cargo space. Consumers are probably going to be hauling a lot of stuff, so it REALLY is helpful.
Dodge trucks are more expensive for a reason. Dodge sells more diesels than GM, and some years Ford. Ford sells the most trucks because theyre the cheapest and most available, thats why my company bought Fords, but we got what we paid for...cheap crap.

My dad owns a 1995 f150 4.9l and it has 190k on it, never put a dime into the motor other than oil and filter. Clutch was replaced after 150k and a u-joint after filling the bed up to the cap with cement blocks. I have a 2003 f150 with the 4.6l hauling 3,000lbs of scrap metal 40 miles to the yard, Only problem was 6 ply tires now have 10 rated for 3200lbs still make them bulge. Chevy is no comparison!

Most early model "bubble" Ford truck's I've seen had electrical problems. Even the first year they switched to fuel injection on those ugly boxy f-150's from the late 80's had electrical issues. The only thing a Chevy can't beat in the 90's were the Cummins and the 7.3 Powerstrokes but that is about it. You can't beat an old toilet bowel injected 350 in reliability.

You know why I can vouch for the Silverado being America's best truck? My first truck was a 2001 Silverado 2500, 6.0L V8, 170,000 miles on it and the only problem with it was the windows losing synchronization. That truck's been through salty beach air, heavy snow climates, ritualistic construction, moving, boat-tugging... the works. I'm not going to lie, the only other truck I've ever owned is my H3 [GM] , but those are the facts and I'm going by them. Silverados are TOUGH.

My dad owns a 1995 f150 4.9l and it has 190k on it, never put a dime into the motor other than oil and filter. Clutch was replaced after 150k and a u-joint after filling the bed up to the cap with cement blocks. I have a 2003 f150 with the 4.6l hauling 3,000lbs of scrap metal 40 miles to the yard, Only problem was 6 ply tires now have 10 rated for 3200lbs still make them bulge. Chevy is no comparison!
