Ive gotten in there with the croc using a different method that still works only catch you have to be a druid so u can flight form while falling and need a larger mount to get through a wall. i also know how to get into the arena under dalaran sewers and in the big hole with the npc in the horde sanctuary

the sewer crocolisk appears in SW it has no name just sewer monster for a name and its only lvl 50 i death gripped it out of the water and killed it with my dk lol its big.

i found a way by myself, go to the footlocker chest in the violet hold, u will get undermapped, get a waterwalk and take your flyingmount, fly around and you will find Vern, tested 18-6-10

got next to him in the sewers 20 minutes ago. had to do it on my NE though because my draenei is apparently too fat to fit, and i used a carpet mount. got it on my 2nd try. (no, they did not fix it, if you can't get in you're just doing it wrong.)

they fixed this u get dismounted instantly u can still do it tho by drinking an underbelly elixer and turning into a flying bug

Well i think you must do it in high air then if it dismounts you. Then it must work.
