  • Imagine this with a new score by Hans Zimmer!

  • Has anyone seen the alternate happy ending for the the Babylonian sequence? I read it was made when Intolerance was later cut into 2 or 3 movies and was called "The Fall of Babylon".

  • Brasil,,,,,,,,,,,, rox

  • Where on earth did you get this version? I bought the "new, restored version" last year and it wasn't anywhere near this quality, Great post BTW!

  • I have the most original to Video Copy from Video Images. Is as good a copy as any anyone can find. Is a classic film, I love it as much as the un-PC Birth of the Nation. It was the Avatar of its day, put them side to side and it still tops Avaturd.

  • A Master Piece!

  • The lavishness of the sets and the crowd for 1916 is truly amazing. So are the techniques of continuity editing. The archetypal death act seems to have been pioneered by this film.

  • @amzjaff Is there any era that these sets wouldn't be mind blowing?

  • This film, made in 1916, is just fantastic. It's one of mais favourites. Thanks so much for posting it!
