any1 whod tear his triceps (not sure how it hepponed to him ) but would probably stay away from any dumbell in the next 2-3 months if not more he does it for 2-3 days after the injury lol - shows mental power can break beyond the human body
what a total beast. anyone whose had surgery knows that even tho u use a diff muscle than the one which had surgery ur body is still taxed like hell from the surgery + it hurts like hell
I know your only training this way because of your surgery but wouldnt this make one side stronger than the other or is it just for the short term, like until your tricep heals up
@wippudaeu its simple, he is trying to get tone by doing high reps with lighter weight, this workout was in men's health magazine, thats why he is doing it
@JDilla2812 hmm thanks lots. sorry that my english is no very good hehe but here where i am in sweeden we only have one maybe two dumbell heheh i hope i can find one other dubmell
@wippudaeu my english isnt very good eather hehe :), maybe we can spot eachother on calf raise some time ;0, hehe we can give eachother zackley morbito's ;)
@petafile1234 he explains quite a bit surrounding his injury, surgery, and post-surgery training on elitefts.com under "training logs", then "sponsored lifters", its quite useful for keeping up-to-date on matt kroc
@matklstrength Oh c'mon man don't tell people that. The logic behind what you just said is just so untrue. It doesn't help or make things worse. Training one side has no effect on recovery of other muscles. If anything if you think about it it wears your nervous system out more because not only does it have to worry aboutthe surgery but it has to worry about the heavy training being done.
Studies have actually shown that training the non-injured side of the body while the other side is recovering actually stimulates muscle size and strength increases in the injured side. This is due to the body's desire to maintain balance. If you're strengthening only one side, your body recognizes this and attempts to stimulates growth in the other side to balance itself. Of course the growth will not be 100% equal to the trained side but it is beneficial.
Now if he fucks the other arm up , what is he gonna do

if you train one side it actually helps the other side to recover quicker due to your body naturally trying to be balanced and equal.

@petafile1234 No, actually if you train the other side it will only maintain the strength on the side that has the injury.
