  • Wow awesome vid:)) thanks for sharing this:)

  • @morningmayan There is something about living inside of a tree that really appeals to me... Glad you dig it! :)

  • for really cheap I bought these "Siberian Elms" from a magazine advertised as tall & fast growing shrubs, they grew about 5ft year. in no time I had the beginnings of a dense shrub but the fact is they are not a shrub, they quickly turn into a tree so to maintain a shrub I was always cutting down trees but these trees when young could be intertwined to perhaps grow the privacy wall that I want. Most I have dug out but I still have a few I will experiment with this summer.

  • Be very cautious of one aspect suggested in the Venus Project. It was suggested that the monetary system be removed. That worked fine in the jungle but no monetary system means we do not buy property. Each person would have to be in designated living quarters. You could not choose to live on open land unless you produced wheat or livestock & as soon as you choose to not work the land you must relinquish the property to those that will. I worry about that.

I do see some valuable uses for this. There are strict code violations in my city pertaining to everything except shrubs & trees. I can't build any kind of fence inside of my fenced property. I really grilled the city inspectors & fact is they do not enforce most of the laws because technically a dog run is illegal because it is a fence yet I can grow dense shrubbery & trees around my house with no restrictions. I may use this idea here to fully enclose my back yard from prying eyes

  • @GlobalAwareness2525 You raise some excellent points about wiring, plumbing, leaks, and things of the sort. But I think with some of the newer materials, caulks, foams, and some of the old ingenuity, we could solve problems like you mention with just a bit of effort...

    Good stuff though...

  • Well, I don't doubt that with the amount of genetic engineering where scientists have created pigs with cowhides & probably a few hideous creatures as well and they have created fish that grow twice as fast to feed an ever growing population could also genetically alter a tree to grow rapidly in the form of a house then suddenly stop growing. Perhaps it could remain alive or die. After all that's what any wood framed house is... dead wood

  • Furthermore scientists are using peoples stem cells and growing customized hearts, heart valves & bladders in the lab, they match you therefore the body does not resist the organ. Stem cells regrow fingers, soon entire limbs. Anything in the body can be grown outside the body. They can create nanobot blood cells soon to produce 6X the oxygen. Incredible advancements in the lab but not mainstream. I suspect stem cells could reverse aging. I am positive they could reprogram tree growth.

but I think it can be done with some ingenuity. Another serious issue is that lightning loves to strike trees, didn't you ever hear someone say in a thunder storm don't stand under a tree? Well holy crap you would definitely be under the tree, but I imagine there could be a way to deter the lightning. I actually think cement dome homes are the better idea, they are fireproof, hurricane & tornado resistant, flood resistant, termite proof & the walls won't keep moving

That's interesting. 10yrs ago my brother had the idea of genetically programing a tree to grow into a house. As long as this tree house continues to grow as you live in it likely could never install plumbing or electricity in the traditional way because the walls would continue to move. No wires or plumbing could be attached to the walls. Sewer or septic could not be underground as the root system would collapse the pipes...

  • Wow, how "cool" is this!? We must/may take corrective action -- to involuntarly eliminate the bureacracy -- Practically in/by our self honesty we = self responsible and henceforth we realize -- we are the directive principal as oneness & equality to make these ideas become real.

    In appreciation,

    Nuru

  • In appreciation to your efforts as well, thank you all.

  • I loved this! I always wanted to live in a tree house:)

  • That'd make your thumbs green for sure!! How cool would it be to see a whole neighborhood like that! A Forest of homes!

  • thats so cool, we have to put these thiings into practice. join the forum of desteni-money

  • Yup! Can't stop these ideas now! They're out and we gonna build our dreams!

  • aye cheers for this vid, had never heard about that project.

something similar is the venus project by jaques fresco, i presume you've already heard of that?

anyway there is a future in ecological building more then there is in our current way of doing so to be honeset.

    anyway thx for the vid

  • The bureaucracy is inhibiting our growth and creativity. Nice video Fractal.
