I don't know why this video has such an astronomical amount of slowdown, both my gba and gba emulated version are way faster than this.

I used to think it was the game when I saw this vid but I've since tried it and it's nothing like this, even in this fight.

man this guy was easy once u use ultima weapon too bad i didn't notice until i beat kasier man that guy was way hard 3/4 of my team were completly useless!

only locke and his lightbringers could punch a 20k hole on each rally once ultima omega was a push over 20k to 78k yikes

My current party is sabin, edgar, terra and cyan

My personal favorite party is Terra, Celes, Locke, and Sabin, but any party is good if you've trained and equipped them probably. (Well, maybe not a party of Mog, Gau, Umaro, and Gogo...)

Level training is best done in the forest west of Doma Castle, where you fight Tyrannosaurs and Brachiosaurs. AP training is best done in the desert south of Maranda, where you fight Cactuars.

@damnyoustamos well if you leave shadow alife gogo is 1 of your strongest members with its trow command and if you give umaro an master scroll it becomes pretty strong too if you let mog do snow mans rondo he is strong too and gau is just 1 bit of a healer leaf him with 1 gemebox (soul of thamasa ) and hermes sandals and he'll does fine too my party in beating kefka included umaro and gogo zo erer

I think it's better because you can rom hack the SNES version where as you can't the GBA rom version.

But the GBA version looks better and has more content. I make rom hacks for the SNES version there. ;)

aww i had the items where it doubled your attack that made my strongest character Edgar Hit the enemy like 16 times :D no one stood a chance 2 weapons and two of the Accesories on him lol could never be arsed finding Kefka though :P

@cynicalseymour I personally think that 6 and 7 are cut from the same cloth. Both final villians are just whacked out morons with a penchant for destroying stuff. 4 and 9 are A LOT better, with arguable "evil" villians.

@Anemite Cliche? How so? A dark knight turning good? The main character being related to the antangonist? Those are the only cliche things about it. FFVI is pretty cliche in and of itself. A girl who can't find love because she thinks she's a monster? A rebel faction against an empire? I never said I didn't like 6 and 7, in fact, I love all these games so much I play them each once a year. I just personally find redeemable villians more intriging than villans who just want to destroy.

@Meidoification Agreed. It's how those cliche's are used that determine if the story turns out good or bad. What made Kefka good next to his sillyness is that he represented all the worst points of human behavior and emotions and when he became a god well that showed why a god should not have emotions, But yeah I agree with you, but except for kefka I love fallen hero villain's like Van and Mithos from the Tales of. series which is known for alot of their villains being fallen heroes

LOL, why don't u just give all of ur guys wall rings? makes the fight REALLY easy. Then you just cast wall on the enemy. so when you want to heal urself, you heal the monster, and when you want to hurt the monster, you cast it on urself. but the monster isn't smart enough to cast things on himself, so he will ALWAYS hurt himself.

I personally like the game to be a challenge, so useing a tactic like to make it eaiser sounds quite boring and im sure thats the reason he doesnt use it. aslo i dont think it would work. :) doing that might make it harder (unless youve tried this method?)

It sounds like he's saying Omega has reraise cast on him automatically twice. That means you have to hit him for 60,000 HP three times.

When can you effect Omega Weapon with attacks? Because I heard Kaiser Dragon could only be effected after he Barrier Changes 5 times, so what about Omega Weapon? He only has about 60,000 health.

The dungeon depicted is the Dragon's Den,which becomes available after finding and killing all 8 dragons in the World of Ruin. Here, you fight harder version of the 8 dragons, and the boss of the Dragon's Den is the fabled Kaiser Dragon. After you defeat the Kaiser Dragon, you can play through the dungeon again, and the Omega Weapon takes the place of the Kaiser Dragon.
