Three huge problems: 1) in 1974, no matter what time of day or night you do it, you cannot launch a Saturn V rocket without alerting everyone within 20 miles. Press attention follows, secret mission kaput; 2) Who "found" the "found" footage if we never went back to the moon? 3) Interesting that even in 2011 cinematographers cannot fake a) the moon's 1/6 gravity and b) the vacuum. They avoid the authentic "scuffling walk" that threw large amounts of fine dust in a perfect parabola, no dispersion.

@PokeVlogz I actually think that it was supposed to be in the movie, but a lot of it ended up on the editing room floor. The hand-wave that the cosmonaut was on a solo mission seems to be tacked on. It was a pretty slow movie even though it was just over an hour. Characters were flat, almost all the scares are jumps rather then psychological, and they ruin their best scene (the strobe light in the dark of a moon crater) by doing it twice. Very disappointed.

Off topic, but, I watched from the first landing in 1969 (age 5) to the last, I call BS on all you hoaxer kind saying there was no moon landing. The Apollo and shuttle missions were all 100 percent real, as were the several mishaps that took lives of several brave, smart, heroic men over the years.

This movie was weird, it lagged a bit but was still pretty interesting. Overall I liked it. The cinematography was done to give the feel of it actually being filmed with cameras carried by the astronauts, complete with washed out frames static and such which gave it a feel of an actual lunar mission. Worth the price of a ticket in my opinion. Thumbs up from me.

i saw this movie when it came out and being a fan of apollo 13 i was very dissapointed in this film. apollo missions were amazing feats in technology made by americans to go to the moon however in this film suggests some kind of cover up something is on the moon could they come up with anything more stupid? spiders that come out of moon rocks? in all its more a conspiracy film than anything unless your a sci -fi fan i would spend that money on something else.

i work for NASA and i actually know why we never went back. it is because of theis footage we found on an abandoned aricraft on ur next mission. we didn't role it until they returned right after they found the tape. this movie is like paronormal activity. it is real but altered a little so the goverment can hold on to the real footage. most of the horror parts are not real but the astronauts got stuck by loss of feul. there aree reports of alien activity though

@MondoBeno Apparently not cause we have all seen those moon footage from Apollo astronauts didn't we ? Maybe it was not that cold as what they told us. Photo rolls here in earth by winter temps would break easily but not crumble. We always had film breaks at the photolab of Kodak we had to increase the humidity to prevent this break from happening.
