In my opinion, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was probably the best expansion there was. The storyline and other features blew my mind. The Lich King was the best part about the expansion. Probably the only bad guy you will probably hate yourself for killing.

If they would make it into acts, well. it would still not encompass the entirety of wow lore back in the day when Azeroth was the only map.. its a huge story you know with lots and lots of characters and events.

The Lich King or Illidan.. trust me, its not that interesting.. its a build up focusing on a cliche ending that has no surprises next to "Good guys always win"

I may be a warhammer fan, but Blizzard has done an amazing job with Warcraft. Their success has lead to one of the best RTS's of all time (WC3) imo. At the same time their success is their downfall. To keep raising the bar is impossible and eventually the fan base with die out do to the lack of new content/gameplay. (WoW). There is little New in Cataclysm, and many of my friends (and myself) have switched to Warhammer Online. WoW will fall, but what will Blizzard create to take its place? ... ..

they didn't make a strategy game into mmo. They made MMO using warcraft lore, which is not, by any stretch of imagination - limited to RTS genre. And to be perfectly honest, wow was a great phenomenon back in the day. We finally got to explore azeroth on our own, to have adventures in a lore that was almost as popular as middle-earth. Hence i feel sorry for all the morons claiming wow was a mistake. All those years ago it was a truly great thing.

The same people only work on all the games if A: they only come out with a new game after a LONG dev cycle (Id is a good example), or B: if it's a new or very small studio. They'd have to give up WoW because of story progression; you can't have 2 separate games for the same story, it's inefficient.
