HeLLo Rob..:)..I feel a little sad because i can't buy your DVD..:(, but i've tried my best to download all of your videos even my internet is very slow (3.6Mbps)..:')~!..:D..,I'll keep download your videos for my future reference..when i get my own drum..:)..i hope you can understand what i'm saying..:)..sorry if my english is bad...^_^..
@AelronLeyron23 Don't worry, your English is excellent. Thank you for choosing to download my videos and I'm really pleased that you are enjoying them. Let me know if you ever have any questions or problems and good luck with your drumming. Thanks! Rob :)
hey, ive got a question and please can you give me a professional answer: what do you think about the e-drum ,,Alesis DM6 Drum Kit? Please answer this question here or with an message. (sry if my english is bad, i´m german. hope you can understand it^^)
@13Drumsticks Hi, don't worry, your English is excellent! I have not used this drum kit before so cannot help you I'm afriad. Sorry about that but thanks for your question anyway! Rob :)
@DrumsTheWord Ok^^ Em, does Im Afraid mean ´I have to go´ or ´Im scared´?
And i wan to say why i don´t subscribe you ( I hope ´subscribe´ means that i see every new video whick was made by you), I dont subscribe you, because you don´t only make How-to-Drum Videos of Green Day Songs (I dont want to play songs like ,,we will rock you"). But dude, you make a very excellent jop! :) every video by you gets a thumb up by me^^
@drklenk I just use standard cheap headphones, I don't even know the make of them. They're not really tight on my head at all, just enough to hear the drums is all I need really. Hope this answers your question and thanks for your interest! Rob
i have the same electric kit and i would like to know how you can conect the sound so it can go on the computer...i dont know how to explain it but its that i want to make drum covers but i dont know how to transport the drum sounds to the computer
hey im looking to buy a nice but handy drum kit and that electric drum kit is exactly what i want so how much is it and where could i find it? oh and by the way you are sick at drums!!!
Hey, if you like drumming, feel free to check out my page. Girl drummer, got 11 videos up so far. Any song suggestions are welcome, thanks, Melanie xx
@johnythedrummer I think this is a decision that you will have to make. The convenience of an electric drum kit over the realistic sound of an acoustic drum kit. Both have positives and negatives. I'm slightly leaning towards the electric kit though in your situation as you could potentially play it in a student house of residence or flat in two years....within reason of course.
@johnythedrummer Good question. I have an article on my website discussing this very issue. You can read under my free drum lesson and then free article section. You see, I use both electric and acoustic for different situations. Electric is really good to practice, teach and record videos with whilst the acoustic is essential for live gigs. It really depends on what you want to buy a drum kit for in the first place? Rob
Hey dude, I'v been watching your lessons, there the best on youtube for beginner to intermediate songs cause you explain shit really good.
But another thing, I'v gotten myself the same drumkit like you ( yamaha DTXPRESS IV special ) And I would like to record stuff with that thing, I'm not the most computer wise guy, Could you quickly explain how to record playings and transfer them to normal computer ?
@vansteenkiss Cheers for the kind words! I just plug the drum kit directly into the cameras microphone socket and then upload the finished video to my computer. You need a camera with a mic port and a lead to attach with and that's it. Hope that helps! Rob
@MrJaackHughes Hi , Just answered your question its a DTXpress 4 , somebody else asked it also.. also, its good to learn drum tuning early so your fast at it. Acoustic > electronic.
@royalmailspoofs Its a Yamaha DTXpress 4. I have #3 and its good stuff. I still say get a regular kit for a beginner because the give of the heads is easier on the wrists . Ya need your arms, save em for practicing. unless your landlord hates on instruments or that you absolutely MUST have it for electronica. Its a great start once you get a real nice acoustic kit since now you have a whole sampler kit; From 5 pc to 12 piece in one go
Hi, I just got my first drum kit at x-mas and I was wondering, is it possible to play this with a normal 5 piece drum kit? if you could get back to me asap i'd love it thanks so much :)
Hi @Brounto. Yeah, absolutely! The drum kit I use in the video is a five piece kit. If you have one tom less then simply move the tom notes you're missing to another tom instead. It's not like playing the guitar where people are going to notice the melody changing. That's what makes playing the drums so flexible. Enjoy your new drum kit!
Hey @andyhighnumber, it's great to hear you enjoyed the download! Thanks for letting me know you appreciated it. It's nice to get a little love back. Let me know if you have any further questions that I can help you with.

@rob96911 Only if you bash really hard. Electric drums can take some punishment but you do have to be careful not to over do it.
