  • Ive heard this song a long time ago and loved it. It touched my heart. My fiance just dedicate this song to me two days ago and made me love it more!! Thanks a lot for uploading this song. I can put it on replay going to sleep!!

  • I' m telling the true that this day all song are not write out from the button of their heart, what they trying to do is just want to be famous out their and make money that is all. Anybody could come out 2-3 album per year and that is crazy!!!......this day no more good song only few but not so many because some composer and writer are retired and only cov kids that sawv tom ham nyom los ua lawm xwb.

  • These Kue guys sure know how to sing. It's a very good song for a girl you really like. I know Fue is not a Kue but it would be cool if they are all Kue. HaHa...

  • Hey, was wondering if you have an instrumental version. This is so original hmong talent.

  • Jwing is there any possible way i can get the lyrics for this song?

  • what a nice song!

  • this is a very sad song. Every time I listen to this song my heart is melting

  • does anyone have a better quality version? one that might be a bit better?k

  • does anyone have a better quality version? one that might be a bit better?

  • Thanks for uploading this song. I love it. My era that I grow up to liking it much. Still do nowaday after so many years gone by. I wish they have a reunion so I can listen it live again. I went to their concert or party back in the (If I remember right late 80's or early 90's in Fresno, CA.) It was a night to remember.

  • the 1st album was the best..the rest ..eyy its ok.

  • OMG, i remember this song came out in 1989. fong kue, a new band member not a bad singer himself. you never thought any piece would become classic at the time, but wow! brings back lots memories.

  • By far this is the best love song to dedicate to a girl. Each verse in itself is a poem. Smooth. Deep. You can tell this is truly from the heart. This song could be sung now and it would still be just as meaningful. I wish Hmong song writers would put a little more heart into their songs. Younger singers now just want to put out an album rather than making sure that a whole story can be told in a song. Oldies but Goodies. This was the song I serenade to my girl and she just melted. lol

  • @5yooj8 you n your girlfriend can thank my pops...lol thanks for the comment glad tp hear people still love their songs after all these years.

  • @5yooj8 - you just took words out of my mouth ;~). totally agree!

  • Beautiful song with beautiful lyrics. This song has such a deep meaning. Hmong oldies have true passion when singing about love. I love how they were so original. These legends will live on forever!..

  • i love this song!

  • what a nice song!!!

  • Gosh...i never thought one day in the future i will look back to this listening to this with tears....maybe it is not so much of the song, but the moment, the time i was at the time.....so free, so young, so innocent, so peaceful, so fun, so loved with families and friends whom have all gone now. thank you kaab nkausvas!

  • I remember listening to a song they wrote about "california" and the girls there. well, i went to california and met a gal...she turned out to only be a thief, a lier, and a gangsta. Nearly broke my heart...but yeah, this group at least got me hooked on love. Respect.

  • @popcorn4two awe how unfortunate! trust me cali girls aren't that bad!!! there are still plenty of good girls!!!!

  • dang, to think about it, Kaab Nqausvas actually had the balls to bring their instruments and set it up by the temple was Monumental. Dudes and dudetts, this band can still outrock any young hmong groups because their long hair can just about whoop anything out there.

  • kho siab thiab tu siab vim nco txog lub neej thaum ub...tsis tau ua hluas li...tsis zoo li thaum ub lawm...

  • Thanks for uploading this great song. The 80's was my era and I had learned to enjoy listening of your music, ever thought of remix or duplicate your songs? I got all of your album but they are were cassette quality and I would like to have them all in CD. I understand all of you guys are retired. If so, I can't wait to purchase the re-mix album or in CD. Thanks for singing great songs.

  • dam these oldies song are the best...

  • Met Kaab Nqausvas in CA in 87... they were playing at a school .. while they were playing a Cambodian or Laos gang jumped on stage and started messing them up

back then the Hmong were geeks........... Me, from Wisconsin started a fight with the gang......... all by myself

I like the band, they are also relatives

I went to Rhode Island in 85 to play soccer... we won the tournament........ but the band was good at the party. Hard to find Hmong bands that would sing to the soul of older Hmong

  • i never get tired listen to dis song

  • You know Dr. Kue @ Moob Pharmacy looks familiar...

  • yep...that's him....the bass guitar player

  • @hmoobmusic1 actually, that's not Dr. Kue... that bass player is my dad...

  • @punkou7 The ORIGINAL bass player is Koua Kue. He retired in 1987. Then Roger Pao Kue took over. Roger Kue is also now a pharmacist in MN.

  • Your dad, Haam Yag, was the Lead Guitar player.

  • @hmoobmusic1

acutally it's pao robert kue...he's my uncle...and he's is the proud owner of hmoob pharmacy in MN.

  • @hmoobmusic1

Nothing but respect for this band. I've to agree with the ducumentary on the greatest Hmong band of all time that Kaab Nausvas was, is, and will always be the best Hmong band ever. Hope to see you guys perform live once more. Thanks for posting these oldies songs in here. Brings lots of good memories back. I went to Pao Kue's pharmacy all the time, but never know that he's part of this band. Maybe on my next trip, I'll talk to him about this band.

  • they now reside in MN!

  • OMGoodness! I love these oldies. They bring back so much memories of love and lost love. Thank you so much for posting.

  • how can I get a copy of their music ..I love their music

  • this song is so touchy and i feel sad when i first hear.

  • wow... this song brings back so many memories...makes me miss someone from the past... funny how someone can dedicate a song to one but doesn't seem to hold their words accordingly as promised..

  • When I listen to Kaab Nkaus Vas. It is still the very best Hmong Band. When you hear live music its just better. Not like Haam Yag's new posted songs on utube. I don't know if he's ever going to do live music again or not. He is a good song writer. Just that the band don't live together anymore. Like to have them to play together again.

  • @jujdubutube09 Nonetheless, Haam Yag still wrote A LOT of the Kaab Nkaus Vas songs. Hmong music is just different nowadays. Heck, if you'd like I can tell tell my dad (yes, my dad Haam Yag) to get into writing more music lol. And if you'd like to know, my dad still plays live music occasionally at parties he's invited to in the local area. :)

  • The band haven't performed together in awhile, but stay tuned. 2009 marks the 30th Year Anniversary of the release of their 1st album and there might be a RE-UNION CONCERT in the works. Very early, but this could be historic! :)

  • So did they already made their 2009 marks yet? If not that would be great cause I would love to be there to see and especially hear them sing. Please note me if they are going to have a concert!!!! Please, thanks.

  • Hey is Haam choj really your dad..? He is one of the Best OG Hmong musicians of all times man :) I saw him and his friends singing at Hmong clubs from time to time. He got skills in all his Music :)

Hey did your dad helped Bee Fong out with his Album back in the old days..

  • He's my uncle and Bee Fong is also. Tuam Kwm is my dad. He sings some songs too.

But I think so. Not too sure though. They played music back in the old days when I was still a kid.

  • My father Haam Choj helped produce one of Bee Fong's album back in the days. Haam Choj actually sings two songs on the album.

  • Bee still at Hmong Auto Clinic?

Damn, I been looking for his songs too.

Homeboy would never give them to me, LoL.

  • Hey, they are my uncles. I love their songs... quite a unique style, chord progressions, scales and melodies for a Hmong group. Of all the older Hmong bands, they are my favorite.

  • hu tau zoo kawg os . ua li niam no cov tub hu nkauj no dua twg tag lawm os. puas muaj leej twg paub lawv puas tawm nkauj tshiab li lawm thiab os.

  • The band seperated when some of the band members had to move to MN from Rhode Island. Sorry no new music anytime soon. But stay tune, we might have some new anouncements soon.

  • I love the 80's... do you have anymore of thier music...

  • yeah more videos to come. We're in the process of getting their CD's available online. Stay tune.

  • This video is dedicated to Kaab Nqausvas. They inspired us not only with their lyrics but also by chasing their dreams as musicians. By releasing their 1st album in 1979 they thaught us that when we preserve towards our dreams anything can happen.

  • I thought this song was from the BEE FONG album or are you just dedicating this song the the KAAB NQAUSVAS band??

  • No. This is not Bee Fong. This is pure 100% Kaab Nqausvas.
