they played this today on a mix on the radio. i bout lost my damn mind. shit took me back to that feelin of loving hip hop. im divorced from that bitch right now but this brought back great memories......i used to love h.e.r......
damn. I remember being like 15 and having an argument with my two best friends that this song was in fact better than Big L's MVP. I give L props for lyrics but that song was everything I hated about hip hop with the r&b beat and singing shit and they tried to make me feel so stupid for liking this song so much. Whateva, I didn't back down and I still stand by my choice. Raw beats and lyrics beat out crossover appeal anyday.

I remember when Nocturnal dropped, I was one of the few So. Cal. dj's rotating east coast hip-hop. For real, the industry needs to go back to the days of Nocturnal, Ready to die, Illmatic, Dare Iz a Darkside, Enter the Wu, Reasonable Doubt, and other countless classics from back in the day! 1!
@kiddFairfaxx76 i live in montreal quebec and one night in a club the dj throw a fucking set of wu-tang bcc......you know what kind of rap im talking about.........yo i never see a crowd in a club going crazy like that.......

MariusMMS 1 year ago
@MariusMMS The expression "helter skelter" had been around long before The Beatles came about.

@deliver1 Is it an expression? I thought it was The Beatles who came with the name. Then forgive me, I didn't know.
MariusMMS 1 year ago
@MariusMMS Yeah, it basically means out of control, or chaotic etc...

"it went down like this.... one little n*a snuck through the door, peeped the scene, sniped a few, then crept through with 2 more!.. Heads were getting nervous!...." Oh my lord are you serious?!?!?! 1!
