But that is the Mexican government, not its people. Just because another country behaves a certain way does not mean we have to do the same. At the same time, being illegal, they have little protection from potential bad empoyers that will pay less than minimum wage and not give benefits. These employers will treat them worse than they will citizens, because they know they can get away with it.

There's one 80 mile section in Arizona, which includes a national wildlife refuge, where Americans can't go because of violence.
