I enjoyed this review best from any of the others I have seen thus far. Like @msexyslim1 I am also African America and I swatched all of NP1 on my arm and yes the colors are nice but NP2 offers the critical three colors I use for a smoky eye ~ brown, grey, and hello BLACK! That was my decision maker right there ha! @julieg713 love your nail color too!

I didn't buy the Naked palette because it had so many glittery eyeshadows. Like a lot of people I was hoping the Naked2 would include more matte shadows. Matte shadow is so sexy on just not so eye catching in a palette, sadly another lovely palette not for me.

I think if the Naked 2 pallette ever goes down in price (like a year at least, I know) then I will buy it but until then I will make do with the original one. Also... I don't hear people mention Side Car a lot, that's one of my FAVORITE colors from the Naked pallete.

I have no idea why but it was painful for me to watch you swatch the eyeshadow for so long because I know how pigmented those shadows are. I run my finger down it once and it's like an overload of pigment. I was like "agh, she's wasting the magical goodness" hahaha :) Still love you though!

The Naked palette is the best make up item I've bought to this day. God, I love it. I got my mom and best friend hooked on it and they went out to buy their own. Anyway, I wasn't necessarily planning on buying the second ed., but this review was a nice way to see what the second one was all about.

I've bought so many palettes hoping to get something similar to the Naked palette but I FINALLY got it the beginning of December and I am IN LOVE. I shouldn't have wasted so much money trying to find dupes when really, the Naked palettes are so much better quality and worth that $50.

In my opinion, although both palettes have similar colors there is enough of a difference that it won't hurt to have both. I originally was going to pass on 2 (I received the email about it from UD), but after a friend ordered it and showed it to me I realized that owning it was worth it. Both compliment each other so you can use colors from both to achieve more looks. I would say that N1 is more warm & N2 a little more cool, but if you could only buy one I would go with N1. Both are beautiful!

@15habigail The price is a turn off for many, but it depends on how you look at...if you are willing to pay the price it costs for their single shadows ($17 reg for 0.05 oz) then you are getting 12 shades for a fraction of the individual price ($204 worth of shadow for $50). Plus in this palette you get the double ended brush which is of decent quality and a deluxe sample size of the gloss. Of course, there are some that won't pay $17. If you can dupe it for less then that's always great!

@15habigail The physician formula pallets have some similar colours and they're much cheaper. I really recommend the physician formula pallets if you don't want or can't pay $50 for a single pallet.

Great video, Julie! In my opinion, Naked 2 is a good match for girls with fair skin, lights and eyes and hair. I think brunettes look good with the original Naked palette.
