  • Does this song have anything to do with the boxer?

  • how this man isn't more well known I'll never know. Im eternally grateful I stumbled across him.

  • dadalucas- Check out Red House Painters (Mark's first project), Idaho, Jeff Buckley, Time Buckley, The Blue Nile, American Music Club, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young.

  • i like this version better it almost feels like more emotions put into it

  • Reminds me of the Series O.C. California... there was many music which sound very familiar to this ;)

if some one could tell me other music which sounds similar.. e would appreciate much ;)

  • Love this song, the album version especially. For anyone interested, Duk Koo Kim was a Korean boxer who died after a match with Ray Mancini. hence the reference to "Ray Mancini vs. Duk Koo Kim" in the lyrics.

  • Additionally... Duk Koo Kim's mother subsequently committed suicide shortly after his passing. The Referee committed suicide as well and Ray Mancini gave up boxing forever.

  • @CANDOKNOWHOW i had no idea about history of this song, i remember that i was cried when i was listening instrumantal version of this song, i wasnt know why but sounds was so touchy, really sad so sad end..

  • @CANDOKNOWHOW Ray Mancini defended his title twice after the duk koo kim fight then was beaten a few times before retiring. Bob Arum said he was never the same fighter adfter the Duk Koo Kim fight.

  • Np :)

  • I still prefer the album version, but here the lyrics are highlighted. Very glad I listened to this. Thanks for posting.
