I love my job, I have been sick for months and cant get better cuz i run out there doing my route all nite and day regardless that i should be at home gettng better. I love to see other scrappers selling alot and making money, just cant stand watchin those who come to the yard with just a few things. You gotta be good at it or get a 9 to 5.
i love scrapping! I enjoy loading and unloading my truck, going to the yard and the best part is working for yourself. I make my own hours and Honestly I wake up and can't wait to scrap. It's not work to me cuase it's what I would be doing anyway. It's just hard finding the metal here cause my town has a new trash removal method in which the trash guy will only pick your trash up if it's in the can. B4this, I would go out on trash days and would pick up 2 loads in a day. I love scrapping
when prices are up a truck load of mixed steel can bring $200 or $300 or even more depending on the grade, pretty damn good money if ya ask me....the HARD part is finding the stuff for free honestly and not being a crook like some and stealing stuff...I made $2200 in two days with old cars...
well yall aint done nothin. I took my moms buick lesabre took the trunk lid off. took the backs seat out and bust the back windshield out. and cut the piece in the middle out. I use that and good enough for me
We have a business similar to this but we do trash removal too. Very easy solution for these guys, get a box truck. They are cheaper than the pick ups and hold a lot more scrap.

Its actually quite profitable we scrap leftover shit from jobs and pocket an extra $400-$600 usually
