It seems that his new stuff is selling copies in eastern europe. Im in australia and i bought Jagged off Amazon UK. It has a red line on the back saying "for sale in russia and CIS countries only" Some of he album credits are in russian but i dont care.

I worship gary numan but I wish he would realise that his real strength in performance is his ability to command an audience by his unnerving stillness (circa 1979)and not headbanging like a teenager in a cheap wig (it hurts me to say it)

Oh gosh yes - in those old videotapes from various early performances, he could convey so much just by a coy look, averting his gaze, small expression changes on his face, etc. I know he likes to rock out now but I regret I was too young to witness him back when he was the master of machines.

No, I would have to say that Gary ages like a fine wine. He only improves as he gets older. He could wear a live chicken on his head if he wants to but that would not change the fact this his newer music is very good. I have been a fan since around 79 but I love the newer stuff as much if not more than the older stuff.

Gary's cool. He's so subdued despite his rock out stage personality as depicted on teh Graham Norton show. He makes new songs, re-mixes his old songs and re-sells them with out a care. An amazing sense for mood music with power and originality.
