used to be similar mods on the first Deer Hunter game. you replaced the JPG or other file for say 'Whitetailbuck.xxx' (where 'xxx' means whatever format) with pictures of your friends and when you killed the deer (of course shows as a deer in the game) the trophy is your friend's head with antlers sticking out. games were less 'protected' back then!
