New Labour, Tories, -or even SNP, doesn't matter who is in power, -they will line their own pockets, shun the issues that really matter, nothing will change, until the whole system is overhauled,( some hope), these politicians are like parasites on society,- and don't give a shit for the growing problem of child,(and Adult poverty) in Scotland, or anywhere else in the UK come to mention it.
Yes, I have used images created by Joan of children living in poverty in Glasgow. She was making a political point, a point her paintings still make. Art can do that, Joan can still 'hea her say fir hersel', as you put it, about poverty.
If, after 10 years of Labour Party power, the rich have got richer and the poor poorer, the divide between rich and poor greater that it was 100 years ago, then certainly she would have approved.
With the bairns singing in the backround and the very powerful art depicting my peoples bairns, it genuinely brought a tear to my eyes and I am not ashamed to say it to the world. We want our Freedom NOW. We have the party in power and it is led by a man who is destined to go down in our history as a Great Scot. Not a bad title for any Scotsman I say.
if you get rid of labour you will end up with a conservative govt and believe me that will make the problem worse Do you people forget what thatcher did. Scottish kids are not the only ones living in poverty. But thatcher was able to inflict alot of damage and it has had longterm far reaching effects. Also i hate to say this to crapok but scotland will never really be free as they do rely heavily on money from the uk to keep them going, without that money you would find alot more kids in poverty
