I have the 2009 penny but the back is showing lincoln sitting down on a log

looking at something. you did not mention this penny. is it suppose to be rare?

The video was produced well before the mint had selected the final four designs. The design on the back of your coin is one of the designs they picked after my video was put on the web. My video was made to inform you on why and how the mint would celebrate the 100 years of the Lincoln penny. i have a 1914 D with no vdb initials anywhere on it

No pennies from 1910 until 1918 had VDB on them. In 1918 they started printing the VDB on the obverse under the shoulder where it remains today.

I have 2 of 4 of those new pennies they are very nicely done, Oh btw i got that rare one 1909 V.D.B that was given to me before my grandpa passed away in 2004

This is a wonderful and informative video. What kind of coins do you collect? I collect Lincoln cents and assorted silver. What are your most interesting coins? I have a 1909-S cent that was in a fire, resulting in rainbow toning on the front, but, sadly, a dull back and dark ashes around the Lincoln portrait. I also have a choice uncirculated 1909 VDB, but, unfortunately, no 09-S VDB (yet).
