  • wow those rubber bands look really awkward

  • Building calluses will solve the problem as well as weight lifting gloves or power pads lifting pads. Check out strength building methods on my website under excercises. You will benefit from doing a ladder routine and having a training plan to up your reps. studbarpullupcom

dont have the equipment used in this video

    any help

  • @airbournechild92 do bodyweight rows from under a solid table(search youtube or google on how to do a bodyweight row), they work the same muscles as a pull up but are much easier and they will eventualy build the muscles requird for a pull up...

  • @Cody3897 gratz bro, good luck with losing weight.

  • @Cody3897 doing pull ups builds muscle, you need to do cardio to lose the weight then try, i weigh 220. and i lost 20 pounds from cardio in a few months.

  • 1:15 lmao!!!

  • im going to basic training for the marines soon and i dont have a pull up bar anywhere near my house i can do about 3 pull ups right now is there anyway i can get better at pull ups without an actual pull up bar?

  • @paullag0 ya, you can do excercises that hit the same muscle group, which is the Latissimus Dorsi, which is in the back, you will also need strong arms, to increase the strength for these muscles without a pull up bar, you could do things like dumbell rows, or T-bar rows, or bent over rows. but it depends on the position, Keeping the elbows close to the side of the body during the movement creates arm extension. and extension is a prime action of the latissimus dorsi,

  • a tree =)

  • Monkey bars at the park.

  • @paullag0 well, not exactly. Visit some GYM.

Or do some exercises for byceps and back muscles

  • @paullag0 put a chair in front fo the pull up bar and rest one food on it

  • @paullag0 find a tree branch or a metal gate.

  • good job man the elastic bands are good

  • What song is this?

  • @ca806 smashing pumpkins

  • Straps available on my website studbarpullup click into my shopping cart where they are an option

  • where can you buy those elastic straps from?

  • where u get the rubber band

  • this is definitely a good video for beginners if you don't have a spotter. what I did was have someone hold my feet and I kept doing pullups that way. once you can do about 10-15 with assistance, you could probably get one on your own. once you get one pullup, you'll be one your way. just keep doing many many sets of one rep, then do two, then three and eventually you'll be able to skyrocket in strength. in April, I couldn't even hold myself up. by September, I could get 6 & now 8. My Goal=25

  • excellent video for beginners 10/10

  • good video.. the elastic tubes are good ways to do assisted pull ups .. I used to do that with clients.. putting your feet on a exercise ball or chair is another way to go.

  • im in jr guard (rotc) at my HS and i can do 25 pushups in 2 mins, 50 situps in 2 mins

and cant do but 2 pullups =/

  • i can do sit ups and push ups way easier too than pull ups

  • Comment removed
