The only thing that annoys me a bit is that people always compare The vampire Diaries with Twilight. In opinion they are both supposed to entertain and they do that in DIFFERENT way. The books were actually written before Twilight. TVD was written in 1995....and I have read both and they actually are similar in some ways, but not a whole lot.
