How can there be a "dislike"? I can't believe there's a dry eye out there that's watched this video, especially among all the "Dads" out there.
This is much more than a story about the evolution of a young pilot. This is a wonderful story of a father and son and their shared passion. Many thanks to Alan Sr. for this wonderful gift (your video and your son) and many, many thanks to Alan Jr. for sharing this warm and personal story with the rest of us.
Very inspiring video. It shows how we can all achieve a lot when we work at it and don't give up. I am quite sure Alan Jr. didn't just learn to fly like that overnight.
The first year I watched this kid was at IRCHA and he was flying a TT rapter. I had one so I wanted to see what it would do. How impressed I was to see him put it through it's paces. Later that Saturday I watched and talked to him at his canopy as he set the chopper up for night flying. Here I was a nobody spectator, and he had time to answer my questions. What a class act! You are a big reason I have bought Align T-rex 250, 450, 600, 700
Wow amazing video senior! I had the privilege of meeting your son a few years back at our Helicopter Jamboree in Macedon, NY when he came as our special guest. Loved the video. I have been flying since I was six years old, I just turned 31 a month ago and I'm Never gonna stop!
rly cool video :D i just started flying at the same age... but i started with planes... and only flying heli for like a year. but its getting better and better ;D
Thanks for sharing Alan....That was cool, I go to the XFC every year cause Im a Plane guy,but the helis are always really cool too...Good luck w/ your Helis!!!
Awe, you were such a cute kid Alan, what happened? ;) Great video, thanks Alan Szabo Sr. (not a good acronym btw, lol) for making this. Was always wanting to see a video of your flying where it didn't seem so natural, but apparently that didn't last long either. You're a big contribution to the hobby, thanks.
Not sure why, but your flying not only amazes me, but I find I usually have an emotional response while watching these vids! Almost spiritual!! Thanks!
So I've been following your YouTube channel for a while now, admiring Alan's flying skills and it's awesome to see this. Often times, I've wondered how someone gets from being a novice to a pro flying helis, well here is how. Thanks so much for sharing, and keep up the amazing work!
What a pleasure to see my RC Heli idol the first time on the sticks (8:11)
Thanks to daddy Alan Sr for the effort to make this video also for all of us RC Heli pilots. (it remindes me to record my son often to be able to make a video in future days...)
Very inspiring! My dad got me started as well and have enjoyed the hobby because of him. Thank you for the video, reminds us all to not forget our dads who was always there in the beginning. Keep flying Alan!
Man, I envy you dude! I smashed my tailboom on my Trex 100 - do you have any spare parts? hehe just kidding.. I wish I could fly a chopper like that someday!
Thanks Alan. Your father will be proud for you. But I think we must give congratulations to your dad who cares to transfer and then support the model aircraft fire burning inside you. Keep going Alan.
I wish my dad was into rc XD I would love to do this as a hobby with him
