No one wants to fight cuz all our guys who can fight are talented players being told NOT to fight so they don't get injured... it's like this wherever you go! Coaches don't want their key fighters fighting. But Bruins don't HAVE any key players who can fight apart from Lucic, so they constantly look for fights. Except for Laraque, we only have Begin and Kostopoulos who can fight... so Laraque is there for a reason!

yeah, i understand laraque is there for a reason...it's just ridiculous how being the shitty player he is, the habs took on reich multiple times but constantly refused to fight the more talented fighters and players...it would have benefited the habs to fight more talented players, considering the trade-off...thornton is always ready for a fight every time he is out there and he'll fight anyone including laraque (who by the way he has beaten before and had a draw with a couple weeks back)

Thornton is a fierce fighter, I've seen him before, but I've checker all his vids on youtube and he's NEVER beaten Laraque before! And last fight vs. Laraque, Thornton went after Laraque, so he didn't have a choice but to fight Shawn... and that's been the only game we've played against you, so your "Fight a better player" theory is completely whack in this case!

thornton won a clear decision when he played for the blackhawks against laraque...the fight was january 29th, 2004...look it up, you can't even make a case for a draw...thornton hammers an uppercut and then throws laraque down. and so what if laraque didn't have a choice...what else is he going to do out there? score a goal...HAHAHAHA...habs fans need to just stop with their laraque bragging and understand that yes, he can be beat...and most likely, will be a few times this season.
