People laugh at this car like they laughed at the VW Beetle back in the 1950's. This car is an engineering wonder when you consider the cost/performance ratio. It has four wheels, an enclosed body, heater etc and costs less than most motorcycles. Comparing this car to a $15000 car is unfair. It is aimed at people who up until this car appeared could never afford a new car. The car gets the job done.

The Nano have a mighty 2 piston engine 623cc engine with 24kW (33hp) and 4.8kgm@2500RPM torque.

You can reach the top speed "almost easily" after a long time running step-down in the throttle, it reach 160km/h and can cruise the road at high speed. The stability still fine at top-speed.
Nano should be only in city - but can go road. I guess this is the idea if Nano: City & Short road runs.

@itsruw So instead of building lousy little cars, wouldn't the next logical step be to remove import tariffs and quotas from foreign automobiles to make them more affordable? Besides, I was thinking about relative prices if they chose to introduce this car to Europe or North America.
