I actually prefer this live performance to the album version. Her voice is so beautiful.

And as for the comments regarding her guitar playing, did you not pay attention to what she was saying in the beginning? She's showing us how she writes her songs; strumming a few chords and letting the words come to her. Comments like, 'she can't play guitar for shit' are completely uncalled for. Especially since her voice completely overshadows it anyway.

Personally I like this version. A lot of people are saying that this version takes away from the song. Well the point is that her voice is the instrument here. She is conveying the emotion through her voice not the piano or guitar.

no, i think so. the acoustic version was the first one i heard, i thought it was amazing and im disapointed that everyone plays the piano based version. i think the same of kate nash's music, first i heard of her was a demo version of birds and it was so sweet but the album version just too poppy, i think the same about all of her music, its been totally record company-ised.... just hope the same hasnt happened to all of adele's first album!
