Manufacturing jobs create less wealth than information (service sector) jobs. Microsoft - just about every business in the world needs Microsoft Office to survive.

US aggriculture - what is it like 1-3% of US workers make enough food to feed more than 100% of the population? The problem is we cannot do this with all comodities. So, we need Americans to perform jobs where they make the most money. These are service sector and information jobs. Computers, banking, R&D - not manufacturing.

Microsoft produces software, we can sell that to China.

Dell, GE, GM, Boeing, Raytheon, Exxon, Microsoft provide U.S. jobs and provide real wealth. We can sell these aboard for what we import.

But we still suffer a $58 billion trade deficit. We are not producing many thing. We Import too much

You can't have everybody working in Brokerage and selling stock all day. They don't produce any wealth.
