@treg1980 Nah dude, this vocal is from a different recording, you can easily tell. When Madonna got signed they re-recorded demo's such as this for the album, and of course they sound better when you have a huge company backing ya.

@EternityIsLong Of course this is from a different recording, I know that. But raw demo's just proof how much work is done to Madonna's voice (computer work that is) on her albums. Have you ever litened to (for example) Barbra Streisand demo's? You almost can not tell the difference between her demo's and album recordings. Simply because she needs no work to her voice. But anyway, I love both singer.s Very different women and different music styles, but both living legends!!

the comparison to BEP meet me half way and this is strictly the vocal style of Fergie. For those who dnt know fergie who was on Kids Incorporated back in the 80's was very much influenced by madonna. its hard to imagine not im sure if you were to ask fergie now she would agree.
