It's only potentially dangerous if he hits the mat first. If you hit first it's fine.
Things like suplays such as this are illegal but hip tosses, lat drops and other 5 point throws are legal as long as the person throwing hits the mat first.
Not true anymore... The danger is where he lands on the mat and the magnitude... it's a subjective call. Land on his neck and it's almost automatic in folkstyle. Nowhere in the rule book is there anything stating "if he hits the ground first".
