Protesters split into smaller groups. Some rolled large metal trash bins toward police, and a man in a black hooded sweat shirt threw rocks at a police car, breaking the front windshield. Protesters broke windows in a few businesses, including a bank branch and a Boston Market restaurant.
LMAO.... These Progressive/Socialist thugs are the same one that said the 9/12 gathering and town hallers was full of violent malcontent.
If the information the men were Twittering could be found on the internet... being provide by the Police.... wouldn't the Police Department have to be arrested for providing information to "avoid arrest after a lawful order to disperse"? It seems that the internet was used in both instances. What if they Googled information... is Google in danger of arrest ? Pittsburgh needs to think this out... a good lawyer will win this case... a great one will own the city.
That's insane. Don't people have a right to disagree anymore? It has to be a 'sanctioned protest', what's that mean? That I need to get approval for a view I wish to vocalize? Getting back to the report though. Police whereabouts was public knowledge. Anyone could walk up and see them. Therefore anyone could know about, but somehow being organized is illegal.
The Right to peacefully protest. 1st Amendment. Also, it appears the police incited the violence.... not to mention the agent provocateurs brought in to appear as resistance.
Let's all read the constitution and hold our Gov't to their Oath!
This is pure madness. The 1st amendment is officially dead. So how long before they charge the protesters with resisting arrest for them having the nerve to disperse!. This will be a landmark case.
HOW DID THEY FIND THE TWITTERERS?

the police are assuming their order to disperse was legal in the first place...
It wasnt and why are all the riot police wearing paramilitary combat gear when the g20 protesters were all in tee-shirts??
you could argue the police were acting unlawfully and disproportionately...
the first amendment is your key to a successful defence...

POLICE STATE.
The police were blocking streets so they could get rounded up, imprisoned, and fined so they could get large sums of money for the police.
And if you try to find ways not to get arrested your a criminal. What the police did was criminal and the MAINSTREAM media doesn't talk about that.
