FROM ROMANIA... at 7PM

In January 2011 you will see JUPITER high in the sky to the SOUTHWEST. It will be the brightest thing there, you can't miss it.

In the southeast you can see the constellation of "Orion" (or-i-un) or "the hunter". You see 3 bright stars lined up, that is orion's belt. To the left and higher u see a reddish star, that's betelgeuse! It's a HUGE star!

Sometimes when I'm out late I like to look up at the stars outside my house. Since I don't live in the city the stars look amazing at night. I want to take an astronomy class next semester at my school.

I can see the starts pretty much every night where i live. Its pretty much always clear and its really cool to look at so i bought a telescope :)

they are made of hydrogen and helium, our sun is about 75% hydrogen, 24% helium, and the rest is heavier elements, the energy is from fusion, some stars burn very hot so they look blue/white, some are cooler and so they look red

betelgeuse and aldebaran are two that look red, see if you can find them in the sky
