@Mr23Metallica it depends if it is an older hellraiser or a newer version. the older ones have an 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck. the newer ones have an 81 in the bridge and an 89 in the neck. they stopped making the hellraiser avenger this year :(((((((

This being true in a sense, however the question of who is the best guitarist ever is a frequent question proposed to many people. I know I have been hit with this question numerous times and well I tend to get quite annoyed at people who over shadow a true soloist who can improv each and everytime as opposed to someone who has to write something out and stick to it. You wouldn't want a comedians stand up to be the same every time or it wouldn't be funny anymore.

There's nothing wrong with someone having to write out their music first and really work at it. I watched an Oli Herbert interview a while back and he mentioned that he's not the type that can just "wake up and start shredding". He's an absolutely amazing guitarist but has to craft and fine tune his music before he plays. Any comedian can be hilarious regardless of whether they improvise or not, so long as they have enough good material to go around. That's what counts.

And why would it matter if you were technically good at your instrument, but your music sucks? A lot of hair metal guitarists are technically good, but their music blows. And you can't really be better at an instrument than anyone anyways, its all in taste. Punk music is simple, but that doesn't mean they aren't good musicians.

They're just EMGs, nothing too special. but the combination of the body + pickups make a killer tone. VERY versatile, and I'm not kidding. I can play Hendrix on this stuff and it sounds more than half decent

I know what you mean, I'm actually planning on getting an Avenger too, but with no floyed, I have a Dean CFH guitar (Dime's guitar. R.I.P) and I constently switch tuning. I know how to deal with floyeds, but don't like to deal with how long it takes. So yea, sometimes floyeds are cool, but if your a guy who switches tuning a lot then it can be a pain if you don't know how to work around it

Yeah, they really are. In return for staying in tune almost all the time (which this guitar's locking tuners do anyway) and being able to do some whammy tricks, you have to spend at least an hour changing strings, which is a real bitch, and all the adjustments you have to make if you change string gauges are very confusing for beginners. They just aren't really worth it imo.

as far as i know the only avenger syn has used is his custom models and the black avenger in the bat country video which appears to have a tune-o-matic bridge. and looks like a custom model as well because of the block inlays. or an old model. but syn got endorsed by schecter because he was playing a schecter c-1 fr with white invaders.

Syn played many guitars but he favored schecters, he has been spotted using what i believe is a parker fly and a gibson les paul. at the bat country shoot he used a schecter avenger, not the hellraiser model. which is proof that he did use that guitar as well. and syn was endorsed by schecter because he has been asking them to endorse him and eventually they did. he has several custom models, including the black with white pin strips and a rebel flag, white and gold pin strips, and german flag.
