Salvation: Where will your soul go when you die?

I am 15 years old... I was contemplating suicide... I didn't know where to run.. or what to believe... So I went on google and started asking heaps of questions like "where do you go when you die", or "Is there really a god" of course there was no straight forward answer... but I did get a few opinions/answers that really helped me out... I was still lost though so I went on youtube and searched "where do you go when you die?" and came across this video.. I am pleased to say that I am now saved.

interesting documentary i saw talking about evidence regarding historic events in the ancient world. it showed that the bible had the most amount of evidence than any other historic text.

It was something like over 3000 pieces of evidence versus like 8 pieces of evidence for the roman general homer.

The Bible is concrete and specific and 100% true and there is no need to interpret it. Why would God try to confuse us and say one thing when He means another? The only book open to interpretation is Revelation because John himself said he didn't understand the things he saw. Reas 1Cor 14:33. "Born again" in other words being saved, only means that you've accepted Christ into your heart and that you're going to heaven when you die. It doesn't mean that you've become a perfect person. There are lots of people who are "born again" who need to sit down and take a look at their life and how they need to change it so that they don't ruin their testimony. The concept goes like this: you go to court for stealing a car. The penalty is life in prison or 1 billion dollars. You don't have a billion dollars, but then a man you don't even know steps into the court room and says, judge, I'll pay the 1 billion dollars for him. God gave man everything he needed and just gave him one rule. Because man broke that one simple rule, he also broke the covenant between all men and God, also breaking the link between man and God. Learning about suffering in the Hell isn't really from the Bible, and it's insulting our God. He is loving and justice, and fire tortures for always (as a punishment for a short sinful live)are extremely cruel and unjust. Wicked will just not be ressurected for eternal life in restored Paradise on Earth (e.g.Romans6:7; John 5:28,29; Revel.21:3-5; Math.5:5)

God isn't necessarily just punishing us for "short sinful lives." He gave us a chance to redeem our lives from sin. If we reject that redemption, then yes, we will suffer eternally. It's in the Bible.

Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Hell is a waiting place for the final judgment. Once your name is not found in the book of life, you go into the eternal lake of fire with death and hell. Rev. 3:5 Rev. 20:12, Rev. 20:15

You are suprising me- when quoting verses that didnt suits to Your believes at all. How hell and death can be hurled into the lake of fire- if lake of fire means hell? Hell hurled into hell? If we read that symbolic 'lake of fire' means final anihilation, that we clearly read there that hell and death will perish. It's because 'hell' is a common grave of men (not a place of suffering) and there will be time when the death will be ressurected and people will live on earth eternally.(Psalms 37:29)

Psalm 37:29 says "The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever." Those who go to hell are not righteous. Show me where Hell is simply a "common grave of men"

Look at the following verses... obviously hell is a horrible place...Luke 16:23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments..."

Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched..."

also, heaven and hell are just waiting places until the day of judgment. Hell is obviously different than the lake of fire if it can be cast into the lake of fire along with death and Satan. You are ignoring scriptures because they are convicting and you don't want to believe that there is ultimate punishment for sins.

How is the lake of fire symbolic when it is so clearly described as an actual lake of fire in the Bible? Rev.19:20, Rev. 20:10, Rev. 20:14...maybe you should actually read Rev

One more thing... I don't just simply quote verses that "suit my beliefs." All verses in the Bible suit my beliefs, because I believe ALL verses in the Bible. We don't have the right to pick and choose what in the Bible is true and not true when the Bible is the whole, inerrant Word of God. God wouldn't put one thing in the Bible that is true, and another thing that is false. If you believe one word in the Bible, you must believe them all, or else you are hypocritical.

The BIBLE clearly describes hell as being torturous over and over. Aside from that often the Bible speaks of death as being separated from God and life as being reunited with him. So yes, death can be eternal maening you can be eternally separated from God. Please stop ignoring the scriptures because they are convicting. There most certainly is horrible punishment for unforgiven sins. Don't hate me because I speak the scriptures, instead listen to the Word that God wrote for you to read.
