These guns were made to last so no problem with using it regularly. I understand your decision but it is a shame to keep it on display when you could be rocking the range. If you do like it's looks and feel grab yourself a post war P1 and shoot it (although it would probably break before this the P38 would, if it ever did)

@BeanG007 The gun is too collectible to be shot, but I couldn't resist running a few mags through it just to say I've shot it.
