  • where did you get the acrylic t square and plate to measure where you put the stamps?

  • @9serenity99 It is called a stamp positioner and produced by Woodware, though other brands are available :-)

  • BEAUTIFUL pocket book! TFS :) ~Karen

  • What is the round white thing with the divets and blue circle? What does it do? Fantastic vid!

  • @alphafem75 I think you mean the Distressing tool. It gives paper and card a ragged, distressed edge. The Tim Holtz Distress tool is available at most good craft stores :-)

  • BEAUTIFUL AS USUAL!!!!

  • I am amazed by how many different skills you have and all to such a high standard. I have learned more about art since watching your videos than I thought I ever would and find that I am experimenting so much more through your generous sharing od techniques and materials used. • absolutely loved this! Thanks for all the inspiration

  • I love this book Rach! Such a glorious work! I'm wondering what kind of paper you used for the pockets, covers and tags?

  • @rubberduckie135 The cardstock on the pockets is 140gsm Vanguard brand in Eider Cream, the cardstock for the covers and tags was a heavier cardstock - probably around 300gsm, not sure of the brand though.

  • Can you tell me the name brand of the iridescent water color paint and where I can find it?

  • @japhyryder66 Hi, The irridescent water colours that I use on this project are by Cosmic Shimmer who are a UK company, though the product is very similar to Twinkling H20's which might be more readily available, depending on where in the world you are :-)

  • Rach, so beautiful! I love every single thing about it!

  • how can anyone dislike this vid? it may be sped up & not have voice overs or such, but you show close ups of what you are using, or have annotations to clarify.

I love this project of yours, and will definitely be watching the 3rd installment after this to see how it all came together.

AWESOME. Makes me want all those Tim Holtz stamps lol =/

  • Those two videos were (are) very inspiring. I'll make something like this for a friend who has some trouble at work. I hope it'll uplift her mood. Of course I won't just copy your work but some colouring ideas. And the alphabet stamp idea which is so clever!

  • Amazing...I looooooove it = )

  • awesome :)

  • You are inspiring Rachel. i could watch this over and over again. Thanks for the whole process, my head is now full of new ideas. Love the stamps you have used.

What do you use on the back of the rubber stamps to make them cling to the perspex block?

  • @artfullee Thanks for your comments, much appreciated! My stamps are backed with a product called EZ-Mount, also called Kling mount - It is sticky on one side, which attaches to your rubber, and the other side is smooth which will cling to acrylic. The Tim Holtz stamps I use here come ready mounted on Kling Mount, but the Zetti stamps I have mounted myself - You can find EZ Mount easily in most craft stores or ebay.

Q: what kind of paper do you use? it looks like regular computer paper.

  • @studioarthead Yes, the paper is regular printer paper - I use a 120gsm weight which is heavier than the regular stuff, so it holds up to the abuse from water etc

  • @eluniversoencantado I rarely clean my stamps, unless I need to stamp with versamark or a white ink - I use StazOn cleaner for my red rubber stamps, but mostly they are used with black or brown ink, so I just stamp the excess onto paper.
