Does this work even when you don't have AT&T service (due to being out of range/in mountains/under tree canapy/etc..)? I ask becuase I tried to use iPhone maps while on Oregon coast a few months ago & my rental car had GPS. Well the rental car GPS worked fine the entire time but my iPhone didn't work 1/2 the time due to no AT&T service... Yes, I have the 3G iPhone.
now of course this application will not work when you are in the mountains or in an area where there is no cellphone service(am i correct?)(The iphone does not have INTEGRATED GPS, only assisted GPS/GPRS which relies on a nearby cell phone tower)
However, it is an incredible application, telling you your lat and longitude points.
Great App!! I'm drooling already. Just a couple of questions, during the operation of the App, a data connection is not required? (except that part of the upload and email, of course)
And that upload thing, where is the file uploaded?
Great App! Why on earth do you not have a user manual on your website? Videos are not enough. If you can be bothered to write a whole application, couldn't you spare a few hours for a real user's guide?

Seriously do you want to ban phones in the car?
Get somebody to at least film you.

The iPhone 3G has real GPS. This app was designed exclusively for the 3G model.

No. Turn-by-turn directions are not permitted by Apple's developer agreement.

are the maps integrated?
Orteginho 3 years ago
Maps are not... but we're about to come out with version 2 and it will have maps (including topo)
belcanman 3 years ago
What other features? I'm not fond of that Courier-ish font; can we change other gui items?
Stored or downloadable topo would be swell! (Esp. the nice muted geo service ones.)
Thanks!

If I buy the current version, will version 2 be free?

Yes. However, version 2 is out now so if you buy it you will probably get the new version anyway.

Swee-heet! I'm loving the integration with Google Maps. Way to think ahead. The way points are pretty cool too.
Nice app.
