@msk7046 ....yes, I know the balls hit by aluminum bats would OBVIOUSLY take on more damage....I hope NO tax money was used to fund this waste of time "study."
.Tomorrow....Do blind people crossing a street at a busy intersection with a broken traffic light have a greater chance of getting hit by a car than others at the same age if the light is working and their eyesight is 20/20?
THIS WAS THE MOST PIECE OF SHIT EXPEIRMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN I CANT BELIEVE THAT STUPID FUCKER HAS A DEGREE!!! Of course a ball dipped in liquid nitrogen is going to go father either way. Wow
@MRBOSSMANIII hahahaha you don't even understand the experiment. balls for BOTH bats were dipped in liquid nitrogen. the experiment was to see the impact of the bat on the ball. the nitrogen was just to determine the damage the bat made on the ball, and the aluminum cause more damage
I can't lie. This may have been the stupidest experiment you could do to determine what kind of bat hits a ball farther. There are just to many factors that come into play to be able to accurately compare the two.
Aluminum bats bounce the ball off more so, while the wood bats actually hit the ball the other direction instead of doing extra work for you, exaggerating the hit.
aluminum and wood are almost the same. I have tested them myself with the same size bat. The advantage for metal is that it has a larger sweet spot and you don't need to use good mechanics.
if u think u can hit a ball further with a wood bat, ur doing something wrong. Also these test are a bunch of BS, there are so many variables and who cares if the balls are frozen, regular baseballs would yield the same result.
ok, no one cares that your batting average went from .300 to a solid .305 in backyard baseball after your switch to wood bats. Frankly, that comment was totally ridiculous.
Aluminum bats are way too light .. The wooden bat will actually require you to use all your weight instead of just swinging like a douche

What the F was the point of this???? (Other than what most people know--aluminum bats hit balls farther than wooden bats).
I could barely understand half of the dialog.
WASTE OF TIME..

they only froze them so they could see the impact on the ball once you hit it.
