Can I use a simple cleaning product like laundry detergent to clean the carburetor using this method?

It's much better to use an appropiate detergent for ultrasonic cleaning. In particular we used SONICA ML , a special alcaline product that removes grease and and other tenacious residues from aluminium parts.

nice ... did you block the egr after that?

@rb26capri No I didn't block it. After the ultrasonic cleaning with the SONICA Ultrasonic cleaner and the appropriate detergent the EGR valve works perfectly.
