We were required to memorize this poem as children, and I have to admit, back then, it seemed a bit on the sentimental side. But this arrangement and delivery really transform the original piece into something very different. Nice work!
The fact is when Mother Mary told Jesus what had to be done...he obeyed as her son! That alone shows how much Our lady Did mean to Our Lord Jesus. The power she has to plea on our behalf to her son. She IS the greatest intercessor to Jesus.
Imitating Jesus is hard! We do well therefore to accept the example, guidance and help of Mary, His first and most faithful disciple and our loving heavenly Mother. If Mary is the environment of one's soul, Her Son is sure to find it a restful dwelling place!

I believe the more closely one is united with Mary, the more closely one is united with Her Son Jesus.
