Fuck you whiners. They should taser all of you adolesent spoiled brats. When the cops tell to do something and you don't, you better either bring your best or take whats coming and SHUT THE FUCK UP. This is what happens when all your life mommy and daddy tell you that your are special and don't make you do as your told
o ho ho someones a donut lover. well hop on their shotgun and cock it for them. you seemed to be mad at everyone, makes you a fit cop. just dont let the belly flop out over your belt, you may never reach your gun in time.
police violence towards U.S. and citizens alike internationally needs to be addressed by our governments. for everyone out there tired of getting brutalized or framed by the police "protect yourselves". go to itsahookupsite[dot]com and click on the "e-Store" button. U.S. citizens who are felons can not make purchases of our products. International order send email to lotdlinfo@comcast[dot]net or call +44-7092-234023 U.K.
Perspective: this is the United States of America. UCLA(REGENTS) have been allowed to have too much power. the People can take it back. don't go to their school or hospital if you care about being injured.
Countless "political dissidents", their families and friends imprisoned, raped and murdered by military and police in various human right suppressing dicatorships around the world
1 "political dissident", not killed, in a library.
I'll tell you who the victims are. The people who suffer genocide in Africa. Those who are bombed in the Middle East. Tortured in countries throughout the world. You're disaffected. Alienated. Marginalized. Join the club of every generation ever to hit puberty. The difference is that before students spoke for those who couldn't speak. Now we have I am Victim, hear me suffer. The idea that we don't know who the real victims are, that's the saddest misconception of them all.
Man if they just tazered a kid from every University in the country there'd be a big enough rally to overthrow that fucking brazen war mongering crime lord and his cronies in the Whitehouse....
This demo is where the victim culture leads us. A manufactured incident, followed by 100s co-opting into victimhood. We're oppressed, mkay?
Previous generations of students stood before guns for civil rights, for essential freedoms. This generation stands up to the tyranny of a $10 an hour security guy. Thank god all war, all oppression and hunger are behind us. UCLA has new fights to fight.
There is no anger in the speaker or the crowd. Only smiling self-satisfaction and self-righteousness.
I agree, but I think it's worse than that. This is bourgeois rebellion and token idealism. Don't get involved in a protest that might look bad on your future CV.
This is a self-righteous generation aching...seething... to be victimized and discriminated against. They don't want to help victims. They want to be them. And to drive off in the sports car mom & pops bought them afterwards.
I think if you don't listen to police authority when asked to leave and try to make a stand and be mr. brave then your ass deserved to be tasered fi i was the cop i wouldnt have tasered him as well. This is why our country is gettting more and more trashed because of these dumb soft fucks letting all this stuff go unpunished. he should have had a gun and shot one of the students then i bet the story would be hero's saved the day. Please you UCLA students need to get a life.
I have to confess that alot of my view and feeling on this matter come from personal experience and loss. I had a very close friend who was a NJ State trooper who was killed by an arrestee when he failed to cuff him out of consideration for the guy's kids who were watching their Daddy being taken away. He had been biligerent and defiant, but my friend opted to allow him some dignity that he didn't deserve and died for not forcefully subduing and restraining him.
Thanks fr that reply. I can see your point as being against the use of the taser, but unfortunately, there have been lawsuits settled for injuries suffered by arrestees during that carrying out process. As they struggle with the officers carrying them, they can slip out of a grip and fall to the ground and bump thier head causing the need for stitches or other treatment and someone has to pay then. In this instance as in any, I wish the kid would have just stood up and walked out.
Too late, he hadn't complied and left when the library security asked him to so he chose to take it to the level of trespassing instead of simply not having the proper ID. At that point he'd committed a crime and he no longer had the freedom to walk out until he was arrested by the police. He was a tough guy until he knew he was in trouble. You're obviously an intelligent person and I can't see why you don't see that.
Tasers have been tested on thousand and thousands of people, mostly law enforcement and corrections, but alot of civilian volunteers and none have died or have been immobilized for any time more than the few seconds that are typical before they're able to stand and walk. It's never been proven anywhere that anyone has suffered any more damage as the direct result of a taser application. The police are doing a job, not playing a game and that's obvious in this video.
I've been tased seven times during my training of police for hostile situation control. How did I react? Well, I fell immediately to the floor until the shock ended and then I stood up after five seconds more on the floor. No screaming like a second grade girl, no flailing around like a rag doll and no trying to act like it was more painful than it actually was. Play the game, pay the price.
I've seen thousands of people hit by tasers and have never seen one stay crumpled on the floor unable to walk for more than 15 seconds after the blast...and they were all at full voltage and amperage....not the reduced drive level used at UCLA. This kid was not hurt any more than anyone else who is ever tased. He was just looking to make a point and support a predetermined agenda. Sad, yes, but even more sad that it's still getting any atention at all. Old news dies hard, I guess.
That's funny how some people feel like a person who simply voices their opinion in type deserves to be lynched, but they don't feel that an immature, spoiled student who not only entered a college facility illegally, but also resisted arrest and tried to incite a larger incident didn't deserve to receive a little shock that made him cry like a second grade girl. Quite a commentary on the balance of values and views of some people. Typical of UCLA and California in general.
call the UCPD and have them taser her fucken vagina and thatll settle that... as for this shit it was excessive no way should someone be tasered for being a duchebag we are all assholes every now and then and Ive left my id at home many a times does that merit getting french fried? I hope not. He wasnt that heavy so they couls have dragged his ass outta there no trouble they were however clearly expressing their power over him in front of other students to prove a point.. fucking despicable
Be nice with police, you know it's already very hard to live with half a brain, so protecting people is even harder...

Everyone reacts differently. Don't assume just because it really didn't bother you that the taser won't hurt someone else.
