  • Ha ha aha hahahaha ha HA HA HAAAAAAAAHH HAA AHA...

  • I need to turn this into my ringtone!

  • I need to turn this song into my ringtone!

  • I grew up on this... ah the memories

  • "That's alright, but how are you at catching mice???" ROTFL!!! <3 <3 <3

  • The one leg named Smith joke gets me every time. XD

  • @AnimePrincessMelody Especially at the end of the film when Dawes Sr. "gets it." That old-fart laugh is priceless.

  • HOLD 9 !!!!!!! hahahaha

  • When I discovered this is also the guy who plays the Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland I remember my child's mind being so excited.

  • Dick Van Dyke & Julie Andrews = Living Legends

  • @Martyn6452 Indeed.

  • I wish I flow in mid air when I laugh so hard

  • "Its getting worse every year" i dont know why, yet the way he sings it,F%@!IN HILARIOUS

  • i still can't believe this isn't in the stage version. :(

  • were is this house. I NEED IT bad

  • were is this house. I NEED IT

  • that the voice of the mad hatter?

  • She left his table on the ceiling xD

  • Mary Poppins is a Time Lord (or Lady), her bag is her Tardis with a faulty cameleon circuit, and her umbrella is her Sonic device. She used it to lift up the table, she just had it on stealth mode, hence no sound.

  • Every time I watch this song I end up laughing too! Bert was right! It really IS contagious!

  • uncle albert sounds like the mad hatter

  • @girlsrule713 That's because he played the voice of the Mad Hatter.

  • Thanks for uploading this best part of Mary Poppins, used to watch this when I was a kid & how I wish I could join them laughing, floating up & having tea up in the air. It's really Hahahilariously Superb! The world is so much more fun & a happier and better place with the likes of Mary Poppins,Bert & Uncle Albert. ;)

  • Mary Poppins disliked this video

  • LMFAO!! At the cat joke!! LMFAO!!!

  • LOL I used to love this bit.

  • I love it! YOu have to laugh, Its good for you!

I love to laugh! Loud and long and clear, I love to laugh, its' getitng worse every year!

  • If we floated everytime we laughed I would ALWAYS be on the floor

  • Uncle Albert is as mad as a hatter as he would be the Mad Hatter from Wonderland.

  • Try to get through it without even cracking a smile. Now THAT'S impossible! ;)

  • @GenieBella I didn't smile or laugh

  • lol Don't care

  • What an absolutely, "practically perfect" movie! The talents of Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews are unparralled today, and what a supporting cast. With much beloved notables as Ed Wynn and David Tomlinson, not to mention the children, Karen Dotrice and Matthew Garber, lovely Glynis Johns, and so many in other minor roles, to my estimation this surpassed "My Fair Lady" of the same cinematic year, and was more deserving of the Best Movie Oscar.

  • This scene is my favorite of the whole movie! :D

  • I'm lucky enough to know someone like Uncle Albert. He's only a few years older than I am, I think (and I'm still in my teens) yet he really is just like a jolly uncle! Almost anything we say, whether it's a conversation about spotted dick or my drawing of a great big blundering old man with a loud booming voice and hot temper being chased with a frying pan by one of his lady friends, causes him to giggle till tears stream down his cheeks! He'd make a splendid Father Christmas.

  • I'm the type that can't make up their mind, so my laugh is over the place. There's a laugh for every occasion! I love to laugh, loud and clear. The more I'm a merrier me!!

  • 0 dislikes....just as it should be

  • @darthtuna66 Indeed!!

  • A mood, whether positive or negative, is contagious. That's why most people desire outgoing, pleasant individuals around them.

  • I dont know a single person who cant watch this without laughing so much XD even my own dad, and he's a complete hardass!

  • ROCL - rolling on the ceiling laughing!

  • @nerdelicious5 Me broder woks at a watch factory!

A wach factory? What does he do?

He stands 'round all day, AND MAKES FACES!

  • He's so totally high LMAO!

  • You know I forgot what an attractive woman Julie Andrews really was....

  • Ed Wynn (Uncle Albert) and Dick Van Dyke (Bert) are funniest in this video

  • Lots of people seem to like Uncle Albert's laugh. The actor must have been having a jolly good time, because I don't think anybody could will their laughter to sound like that through acting!

  • The tea table still was up there on the ceiling. How is Albert going to have his English Tea now?

  • Excellent!

  • Some only blast.....PAH!

  • the part that makes me laugh is, her facial expressions. she looks completely peeved with everyone.

  • Best part 7:30 Full of sarcasm! xD

  • @Vincentvalentine1993 Was that sarcasm?? I mean when Uncle Albert said "Oh that is sad, that's the saddest thing I ever heard." I thought he meant it because a moment later he was practically pleading with them to stay. I've only ever known small children to care THAT much when visitors leave.

  • @Ilovecats112233 Yeah I know, but it just sounded funny 'as if' it was full of sarcasm. I'm sorry if you misunderstood.

  • I think Uncle Albert (Ed Wynn) has been diagnosed with laughing gas

  • Try telling somebody the joke about making faces in a watch factory. I told it to my one-to-one tutor because she can be a bit Eeyore-ish like a sleep-deprived teenager, and I wasn't expecting to get a reaction apart from a slight flicker of a smile and 'mmm' but she did actually laugh more than I expected! She wasn't hysterical like this lot though. I'll just have to tickle her next time and she won't be able to contain herself!

  • i loled that the table did not go down. So the table is still up there.

  • @line3347 The table has laughing gas.

  • I'd be embarrassed if my laugh turned out like Mary's uncle! It came out as a snort this morning. Albert reminds me of one of the canteen staff at my college.

  • you guys are taking this movie to seriously. it is just a movie so you need to stop it and get over it. it is supposed to be a mive for us to enjoy not judge or degrade

  • Sorry if my comments seemed too serious or spoilt your fun, but I do like to blather on about my cat stories a lot! That makes me laugh. Just like this pack of hyenas, hysterical about things that others really don't find that amusing. I'm pretty sure I remember laughing at my own jokes as I was typing those messages about the cats' responses to this video.

  • Susie has a philosophy that anyone can fly if they truly believe they can do it. Her silly little brain is a gift from Jesus, but her brain is made of marshmallows and peacock feathers, so Jesus has sent us a cat with a brain of marshmallows and peacock feathers. Okay Jesus ta! Joking, I'm not religious really and Susie only has philosophies in my cat stories. I'm just away with the fairies ... or perhaps with the furry felines.

  • Uncle Albert is a silly-billie. So is Bert.

  • I love Uncle Albert's laugh! (:

I'm doing a paper in english class on laughter! This song is so inspiring to me! Hahaha! Heeheehee! Hohoho-Huh?!

  • Laughter may be the only medicine to keep some people alive. ;-)

  • There ARE a lot of health benefits linked to laughing! It's amazing what all is out there!

  • The wailing sound before they enter the room is a bit spooky; like a ghost or something roaming about in an attic!

  • I've been having fun imagining my cats' reactions to this video ... I write stories about cats, so they are personified to possess many human behaviours as well as their own feline traits. The reformed alley cats are the 'tough hard typical adolescents'. Jimmy would say it's 'well gay', which is a favourite word of his. And dopey little Susie would be wetting herself with laughter and jumping up and down trying to float up to the ceiling!

  • Anthropomorphism i like it!! it is creative and cute!! u should make stop motion film!!!

  • What's anthropomorphism?

  • Anthropomorphism is when there are animals set in a story or movie that are given human like characteristics... for example Alice in wonderland where the white rabbit has his watch and can talk.. things like that...

  • @Ilovecats112233

Gay is a mental thing. Like psychosis.

  • I was never psychotic. I know that because I've never hallucinated and I know that my make-believe games aren't real, but I did get mistaken for psychotic a few years ago because I didn't want to admit that the games weren't real. As for gay being a mental thing, my cat Jimmy just describes anything that's negative as gay (in the stories) because the alley cats are homophobic. Not that there's anything negative about this video, but the alley cats just like to sneer at weird behaviour.

  • They couldn't really have cast a better man for the part. Mary Poppins said it was a 'disgraceful' sight, and what with the bald patch and stockings, and the high-pitched wailing sound of his laughter - can you imagine the look on a tough hard teenager's face??? Yet the young at heart would want to be up there fooling around with him.

  • Can't decide which is funnier, Ed Wynn or Dick Van Dykes terrible British accent.

  • This old chap reminds me of the laughing babies videos! Considering she's practically perfect in every way, Mary Poppins can keep up a pussy cat sulk for a long time because her uncle broke a promise. The joke about losing a cat didn't tickle my sense of humour though, even if they can be incredible sulks.

  • hahahahahah:) It's hilarious!

You forget what was the thing you were laughing about and it just goes on and on!!:D :D :))

  • i keep laughing at the jokes and when bert says "last time it took us, 3 days to get im down"

  • i have laugh attacks just like this... that when somthing is funny ill laugh for hours on end the longest i laughed was 5 hours i was crying... and i passed out actually and it wasnt because of this .... i heard my friend slipped on a banana peel. lol

  • Good Heavens, can you really pass out from laughing too much? Still, five hours though ... that's bound to make you exhausted. Laughter is great, but passing out isn't a nice sensation. And it was all because your friend slipped on a banana skin - that's hilarious! I'll tell my friend at college and spread the laughter - we always have a jolly good time!

  • yeah lol... that and just living in America i get a laugh at least 3 times a day... (not really hard to figure out why)... I much rather watch British Comedy than American Comedy... although there are some American Comedians i enjoy Like Dane Cook, Jeff Dunham, and Chris Farley RIP... and yeah the Banana peel story is priceless i only thought it could happen in cartoons... now if u want to get back at someone never underestamate a few banana peels..

  • I don't really watch television apart from Strictly Come Dancing, and not many films, but the sort of comedy I like is Northern English such as Wallace and Gromit and their dialect is different from what I hear my peers and Internet people use all the while. I imagine you as Paula Abdul because she was like a laughing hyena in the Mad Donna X Factor audition, which is irrational because I know it's highly unlikely that you are her!

  • I love wallace and Gromit!! Nick Park is amazing!!! I have all of the shorts and the full length movie!! and i hear another movie is being made for 2010!!! i also liked Chicken Run too...

  • and no i dont really like Paula Abdul... nor Taylor Swift is Pretty.... So is Hailey From Paramore... I like Southern Rock... Shinedown is my absolute favorite band!!!

  • i love it, it makes me laugh heaps

  • God, I saw this scene when I was little, and I was laughing loud and long for a half hour and couldn't stop. I couldn't help it at all lol. THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this :-)

  • I love to laugh! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • one of the best parts of the movie!!!

  • SOME ONLY BLAST!...HA!

THEN THERES A KIND THAT CAN NOT MAKE UP MIND hmmm ha ha ha he he he ho ho ho he eh ah o?

  • um i dont like laughing

  • I love the people who 'can't make up their mind'

Dick's facial expressions at 2:28 and 2:40 are priceless XD

  • Hahah, it's the Mad Hatters voice, man.

    I love to laugh, man.

I don't know, but when he sings I already start to laugh, man. hahaha hahahahah!!

  • yeah he was on Bonanza for an episode... he played an inventor.... he is in alot of things i met him once

  • i love dick van dyke's lines of different laughs some only blast HA! LMAO

  • I love Mary Poppin's lines about laughing through the a person's nose...dreadful LOL

  • omg i almost forgot how hilarious this is. Brought back some great childhood memories...

  • I was laughing throughout the song! XD

    LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was too lol

    its contagious lol

  • The laughing really is contagious xD.

    Gosh xD.

"I started out sad, but everythiing ends up so hilarious!" xD

  • *sigh* I wish I could float whenever I'd get to laugh, but it's very impossible, unfortunately...looks good, though. ^_^

  • *laugh*

oh my gosh...the english version is sooo much better than our german one! xD

    i love it! <3

  • "The most disgraceful site I've ever seen or my name isn't Mary Poppins".... what a ball buster! She needs to lighten up...

  • this part was the best! haha i wish that you really DID float when you laughed!

  • I'd like to float when I laugh too!
