@Halo4eternity There is no 71-72 (anymore), only 71 (because half of that video was lost), and ofc there's E070 after this. Videos on the right (suggestions) are always placed there by YouTube. I suggest you take my official playlist, which I've linked in the video description. That will always have all the videos for this series

@OhHaiCaspeR Army size for a siege: depends on difficulty, and a bit on the faction controlling the castle, but I like to have 1.25x-2x more (more the better ofc).

Money: productive enterprise in each town + occasional trading. Castles and fiefs help. See E024 for trading guide.

Violet joined the Sarranids around episode 31, Violet got her first castle on E050, don't remember army size, game days or anything, but you can always check'em from those vids :)

@xed95x Depends on what is "better" :) On horseback, Morning Star prolly does more damage, but I like the versatility of Violet's (Balanced) Heavy Bastard Sword. The sword is a lot faster than Morning Star = I can actually swing it in melee (e.g. ambushes in town) before enemy hits me.

How I win sieges: first I tell my men to stand still close together so close to the walls that castle archers shoot but far enough that nobody dies, my archers don't shoot. Enemy wastes their arrows. Then I tell my archers to shoot. When my archers are out of arrows and I don't have big numerical advantage I leave and repeat the assault the same way. I know it may sound boring but it works.

Your videos helped me appreciate more how deep this game is. I've played M&B since 0.750 but I haven't played it through (not just playing until I got accepted as a vassal) in a long time. Btw I strongly recommend Brytenwalda mod. It's even deeper and would surely go well with your careful way of playing.

@kid29a I hadn't played Warband before this let's play, just the original. I've read about Brytenwalda, but I won't be looking into other mods before I eventually get this story done, which might take a while :)

@CaptanCarrots YT doesn't offer partner program to Finland, not yet at least, otherwise I would've applied already (although I'd prolly need more views too) - not for money, but for features partners get, like scheduled publishing which would help me a lot.

You know, once you give up your oath, you lose all towns, castles and also villages. So you will lose both castles

@IMakeVidsAboutRS That is true if Violet does renounce the oath, she'll lose the castles... but if she rebels (when Sultan doesn't offer a castle/town to her when she asked), she'll keep everything (and will be at war against the Sultanate too, but it is possible)

@TheZemalf oh, so it would be a good idea to make war with nearly all factions, leave the sultan, then rebel, so if he does have war against you, he will have a problem fighting you since there is everyone else against him

@IMakeVidsAboutRS In theory yes, but Violet cannot directly make Sarranids to declare war (or other way around), as only the Sultan can do that. But it would be better to have war against more than one faction when rebelling (and hoping other factions don't declare war right away against the rebels/new kingdom)

Well apart from the point, good episode Zemalf! I think Violet is very very close to becoming queen of her own kingdom, which is going to become a journey of itself! @OhHaiCaspeR Aye, Sarranid Sultanate was added in Warband, but that's the tiniest change. It's definately worth it to move from original M&B to Warband. It's better in every way possible, plus there's multiplayer if you want that. And if the native game is not enough, there's several amazing and popular mods to Warband
