May you tell me where you found Wella Blondor powder bleach? Or, is there any other powdered bleach that you would recommend? I have black hair, and I want to go platinum. Please help. Thank you!
hi Wella Blondor is a PRO brand...but if you have a Sallys Beauty Loreal Quick Blue is good if your hair is dyed black be careful you might have to double process..meaning bleach more than once..good luck and remember to do the roots last...the roots lift very fast..you want even results..and do one section first to see if your gonna like it or not!!
I've colored mine for about 12 yrs. I go white (using Wella White Lady also). As a guy with shorter hair, the roots don't look bad - in fact, because I stop using the violet-based shampoo/conditioner & allow it to get a bit brassy when I have more natural than colored hair, it eventually looks like I have highlights. Then I do it all again. Usually every 6 to 8 months. But I want to be white always & worry about root work. I'm afraid I'll miss spots, or get it on an already processed area.

i was just wondering as long as you bleach to the pale yellow or yellow (bright) and put the T18 toner it won't neccessary make your hair platnium blonde, unless you bleach past the yellow right?
@FUNKYMACGIRL thanks...omg i thought i should tell you that i went from level 2 to pale yellow in one application with ion color brilliance lightening powder and 30 vol. also 2 clairol lightening activators. just in case you wanted to try it. My hair is more moisturized then it was before i bleached it. =]
can you tell me how is it that the bleach doesnt hurt your scalp, because when ive bleached my manequinn and accidentally got it on my fingers it hurt like hell!

your hair looks good! when I bleached my hair I had to do it a few times to get that red out.My hair ended up breaking in all sorts of areas in my hair..It looked like shit.I had to cut it off to short.That was about 2 summers ago,now my hair is growing out from that short cut and is past my shoulders again.your lucy,I won't do that again cuz now I'm scared it will happen again..
You did a pretty good job on the roots, my only suggestion (not a slam) is that when you are sure your roots are done, wait five minutes just to make sure because your roots are still a little brassy. Your hair is very cute though and styled very well.

if ur not sure have her do a strand test so u can see for ur self how many bleaches and if it will turn out the way u want it with out extreme damage..ull need to invest in a heat protectant product if u do use heat on ur hair...

I bought oreor 30 vol developer and it says it only lifts up 3 levels and the 40 says 4 levels. But my quick blue bleach says 7 levels?! My hair is dark. I am afraid of getting orange. Ive used 30 and 40 peroxide before but they were differnt brands and lifted way more than just 3 levels. I'm not sure if your following me but I am so confused.
I get so scared using 30 volume. I use a dash of 20 volume and the rest water. The bleach really moves fast for me. In your situation, have you ever tried Goldwell 11P color mixed with 30 volume on the roots for 45 mins with 10 mins of that time using heat?
I use Blondor, Goldwell, and Majirel. The Goldwell 11p produces a nice blond with less damage then the Blondor. Give it a try. If it does not work you can always hit it for a minute with Blondor!

i did that and majority of my hair is yellow blonde and the other half is yellowish but more orange then yellow.if i use the purple toner on the yellow part and the blue toner on the other orage parts will it turn one color? or should i mix the 2 toners?
You should also try using a blue shampoo like Shimer Lights. Any shampoo that is blue. Just do not over use... meaning go back to your old shampoo when you reach desired results.

a toner will tone down ur bleached hair for instanace when i took the bleach out it was yellow and the only way to tone it was by using aPurple toner as i did. making it blonde..now to get grey hair a blueor purple toner toner left in white hair for 20 min or so will give u bluish/grey hair

hmmm next try put pruple shampoo on your blonde or even conditoner so it wont stain..
but if you mix a littlebleach plus dev with a little shampoo work it into the stain parts and see if that works!!
then just rinse rinse it off

it has directions right in the box..
the whole bottle is 2oz..so then u would use 4oz dev..
the ratio is 2:1

yes u can do it that wayy(lifting with 30 then adding with a 10)..
orrr
if u have natural hair and wanna do auburn
u can use the auburn color with a 20 and it will come out very subtle
if u do the bleach the auburn might wash out right away..so then jus reapply the 2nd time will usually hold up!!
also if u have color n ur hair u will need to lightnen the virgin part last to ensure an even tone!!

You should also try using a blue shampoo like Shimer Lights. Any shampoo that is blue. Just do not over use... meaning go back to your old shampoo when you reach desired results.

a toner will tone down ur bleached hair for instanace when i took the bleach out it was yellow and the only way to tone it was by using aPurple toner as i did. making it blonde..now to get grey hair a blueor purple toner toner left in white hair for 20 min or so will give u bluish/grey hair

ya mine are half and inch but if u can do it at 1 to 1an1/2 incehes..
so its more like 6 to 8 weeks..some girls will go 2 inches or more..yikes!!!
