  • Very impressive young boy, you put alot of older people to shame. Well done!!! :)

  • You know what's funny, I was going through the 100 burpees video list and I saw most people do a 100 without the squat involved and I come across this video, see this kid does the whole form. Good job!

  • Thumbs up for the little guy! Excellent work!

  • The criticisms on here are so stupid. The kid is 8. He did a hundred burpees. Most kids his age are watching T.V. and developing diabetes type II. Why don't you people spend less time criticizing children and more time improving yourselves like he has?

  • Great video. Monster workrate!

  • He needs to jump with his arms overhead. :-)

  • WELL DONE! There are som guys a lot older than you, who claims to be some of the fitest men in the world who cant do what you do. Keep up the good work!

  • Awesome job man! You look very focused. That is cool.

  • "Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practise" Keep going young warrior ;)

  • Impressive, but he isn't landing flat foot...

  • Good job little bro. That was awesome! You're a good example to every kid out there. Eclipsez0r, I'm sure there a number of variations on the burpee just as there are to every exercise. I'll often get clients to do it with a high knee tuck, or drop to a sprawl rather than a push up etc.

  • good job owennnn

  • wow that was crazy man way to go buddy

  • The jumps are alright, but the pushups are not that pretty.

    Obviously this is impressive anyway.

  • GREAT JOB LIL MAN. Keep up the good work. next maybe your 200 burpee challenge. lol. not a lot of kids your age are interested in this type of fitness. keep it going

  • Great job, very impressive.

  • WOW! that is really, really IMPRESSIVE! Great job, Owen. :)

  • @eclipsez0r You're out of your mind, pal. This kid's burpees are the real deal. Let's see what you consider a burpee. Post a video, Mr. Fitness.

  • @eclipsez0r Wrong again, punk.

  • @eclipsez0r clapping your hands does hardly anything, and that is just a pointless thing cross fit people added. 90% of people dont even do it because of it's lack of effectiveness. Check out Ross Enamait, a legend in true fitness... OH MY GODNESS!! it seems that he too doesnt clap his hands above his head for absolutely no reason. this little kid is flying through the air with every jump. Sorry, but unlike you i dont accept internet fitness gurus bashing an incredible feat of strength. Peace.

  • @eclipsez0r Actually, there is no consensus on whether or not you need to raise your hands above your head and clap in the jump phase of the burpee. Many renowned trainers and conditioning coaches (eg. Ross Enamait) do not define that as an essential part of the burpee. However, it is especially pathetic of you to stroke your ego by calling an eight-year-old a failure. I wish you a future of greater maturity, wisdom, and empathy than you currently possess.

  • @eclipsez0r Criticism itself is not the point here. I am quite hard on my own son, frequently correcting him and typically telling him I think he can do better. I never call him a failure, though. No child, especially one who is eager to learn, is a failure. Criticism is appropriate at any age, if it is delivered with maturity, wisdom, and care. Despite your own immaturity, I am at least thankful that I learned a variation on the burpee from you, and I look forward to trying it out myself.

  • @eclipsez0r I am not bullying you. I am pointing out that it is pathetic for an adult (I assume you are an adult) to call an eight-year-old a failure. I stand by that. Had you simply explained how you define a burpee differently, that would have provided some constructive criticism. Even for those who disagree with your definition, at least it would have provided a new way to perform the burpee. However, you were more interested in trying to flame or humiliate a child. Again, that is pathetic.

  • @mri113 what seperates us, is the fact that i dont care what people on the internet have to say to me, nor did i have to time or care to explain to titan fitness the proper technique of the burpee. i never turned this into a personal attack against your moral standards or character, like you attacked me and my moral values. you dont know me so dont pretend to. im not here to protect anyones fragile little 8yo ego, apparently thats your job.

this makes me wise far beyond your years.

  • @eclipsez0r I am sincere when I say that I applaud you for your standards. I myself enjoy trying to make hard routines even harder. However, by saying that you have your "own standards" for the burpee, you've conceded that there is no consensus on its definition. Ross performs his routines exactly the way he expects others too. He prefers an explosive jump (which he believes is more tiring than raising one's arms over the head), rather than raising the arms over the head.

  • really impressive, even if , as father, i think that for children, sport should be a game, and not a commitment..
